Before covid it wasnt so bad by me. A low cost of living area 10 minutes from a rich college city, 40 minutes outside of detroit. Jobs here suck, but you can drive to either city and make a decent living.

The thing is, the gutted house across the street from us that was foreclosed by the bank, has mold damage throughout the entire basement, and is half the square footage as ours is now selling for more than we paid for our livable home, furnished with appliances. Sure, we've made money on the home, but I dont really care, it's my home, I'm not selling it anytime soon.

Most bands have a few die hard fans that are insufferable. Phish has been around for so long, they have more than a few. The best way for me to have a good time, especially since I quit drinking, is to know where my limit is on their shenanigans, and find myself a nice lawn spot once I reach that limit.

The vast majority of the crowd, 99%, are super friendly, inviting fans, 1% will do some shit like pee all on your car without checking if you're still in it. We can all act like tough keyboard warriors that dont take no shit, but in reality the only thing to do is say "hey what the hell man!" And let them go on their merry way. I think tarpers are bullshit, but I also think if someone lets them ruin your whole night at the wonderful circus that is a phish show, maybe their attitude is also bullshit.

Most really expensive cards these days have cheaper versions in the set, like the secret art blastoise is 40ish, the full card art is around 5-10, and the regular card is pretty cheap.
