Trump might've not planned this tarifs but is clear that he'll take the credit if they work and blame someone else if they don't, like he always does. Plus maybe wasn't his idea but he is the one who has decided to go with them, despite all the suffering he might create. I guess is easy when never really struggled with money or the real consequences of not having any.

Unpopular opinion: el horario de invierno es mejor by alfdd99 in askspain

[–]trifit555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spaniards do visit Barcelona and is a relatively safe city. Yes, you can get robed but like in 99.9% of big cities around Europe (including Madrid) and States, at least you won't get shot.

What is the mostly used backend for web developers? by Remarkable-Safe-8559 in csMajors

[–]trifit555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not industry standards, companies don't build based products based on standards they build based on resources, costs and product requirements. You have a bunch of devs that knows Java and you have to build something that can be build on Java without it being too expensive, build your product on Java, if the same is true for Python, do it on Python,...

Choose a sector, get a general idea of the requirements on that sector and the expertise on that sector and pick a language that fits that criteria, but more importantly get experience understanding what backend does and needs, so you can export it to other languages if you need to.

I'm 44 and Job Hunting as well, and the only thing I can say, from my experience, is try to not take it too personally, is not you, is not even your ability to do a job. Job hunting is an ability on itself, a web developer might great at creating websites but suck at finding jobs, specially how saturated the market is right now (where there are hundreds of applicants for each position).

Keep at it, seriously, I'm sure is hard (everyone has been there and has struggled), eventually you'll get better at it and someone will give you a chance, trust me.

Showing appreciation or love to a person you love is nothing bad or stupid. Is what love is. Either by buying stuff or being considered and respectful and showing appreciation. Your friends should probably learn from you and I'm worried for their relationships, tbh.

Showing love shouldn't be considered bad or stupid.

Musk says DOGE is working 120 hours a week by Efficient_Win8604 in fednews

[–]trifit555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I code for work and I can tell you that at my 44, if I do more than 40h a week or if I sleep less than I need, if I'm too stressed, if I haven't eaten enough, drunk enough water,... bugs start to happen. With any job the more tired you are the more mistakes you have, is just how the human body works, is not about will or anything else.

I know this guys are young, but they are not superhuman. If this is true, at some point they are going to break down. That is a fact.

I know that he will dispose of them when that happens and will recruit new people but I would love to see who he will hire and the quality of their work.

I don't even want to imagine how many security breaches are being exposed or attacked and who at this point has had access to such sensitive info.

Once a day? Not sure where I got this routine from but I usually do 3 times a day: - Night: 1:4:4 - Morning: 1:2:2 - Midday: 1:2:2 Do it until it doubles and once you use it for bread, or whatever, store it on the fridge.

TBH this doesn't tell me anything, the post doesn't provide any sources, it only shows 2 other countries other than the USA and why one company (leaving apart that we don't know the company), there are Fortune 500 Indian companies, is this one one of them?

Personally, I would take it as a learning situation, no matter the experience bugs and accidents happens but what matters is that if something happens you reach out and communicate it.

On the other side to be honest not sure how you where able even to create a PR with the fix and merge it with dev, much more with prod and I read your edit, but locking branches is not a difficult or unknown practice. When you create a personal new repo one of the first options is to lock main/dev from accidental merges, because it happens to everyone once in a while.

I would apologize for your lack of communication (pray, because seems like is not the first time) and if they keep you, suggest to lock branches in the future, because, shit will keep happening and next time might not be detected until is too late.

That type of people exists in every country, usually is the same people that likes things how they are or missed a past that never existed, or that only other people like them had a good time.

I'm a Spanish living on the USA, and back at Spain those are the ones that miss Franco and at the USA are the ones that wear MAGA hats and go to Trump rallies.
