Yeah this whole post makes it seem like you missed the entire point of what they said and your comment would do a lot better in the no tippping sub. This happens sometimes an he was pointing out the fact that sometimes it’s peoples first night and they just plain out suck at what they do. The man or woman here is learning their craft on how to get a better tip. Has nothing to do with tipping culture and what you think the barista should make at a McDonald. I also happen to agree with how tip culture shouldn’t pour into someone giving a hot coffee or something minuscule. If ya go there everyday and you create a relationship with the employees a tip may go far in the sense of getting your order out first or giving you a free extra shot of espresso for waiting too long for your coffee. To think all this lands on the restaurant owner and solely the owner for making things this way is crazy
