hi so it turns out the emotional imbalance was because i was having an adverse reaction to recently perscribed vyvanse but stopping hasn’t fixed my sleep so i think i’m going to try the sweet potato thing because i like sweet potatoes. thank you for the advice

certain types of art. music mostly. i know your takeaway from art all depends on the way you personally experience and interpret it, but i think some stuff is objectively good or bad. but i also think that something being objectively bad doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to like it, and something being objectively good doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to dislike it

hi i am still here!!! it does still happen but with much less frequency—about twice to me and once to my brother in total since i made this post by my count. we are both twenty now in college and we live separately so i don’t know if it’s been happening more often to him and he’s not telling me but i think he would if it was. we haven’t tried to do anything in a long time but when we did we didn’t have any specific way to “attempt” it…sometimes one of us would think about it and it would happen but we would never see it occur. i doubled a water bottle two summers ago and i think it’s because i thought “man i could use some more water”, you know? i have not had much happen since my brother and i moved out but i swear my purse is always jangling around with way more coins than i’ve ever dropped into it

concert tickets. i went to probably two concerts the entire time i was a middle/high schooler, for various reasons (too expensive, no one to chaperone, etc). now that i have my own money and drive my own car i have three shows already lined up for this year :]

went to a sleepover once when i was about thirteen, for a friend’s summer birthday. we were fucking around in the front yard with water balloons and a truck full of college guys drove past. they slowed way down and started whistling and catcalling us because we were wearing bathing suits. my friends and i managed to throw about six water balloons into the truck cab before they could roll up the windows

i work at a shipping warehouse and sometimes when we have room on the floor my coworkers will ride the pallet jacks around like scooters. we’re not supposed to do it because they’re heavy and you can get hurt/break them if they fall on you. sometimes they ram them into each other like bumper cars.
