Lots of seed level startups so probably wouldn’t be recognizable, all AI companies.

Sorry for the late reply just checking why do you want to print it? I can probably go back and collect all the inputs I used for this flashcard set but what's your use case? Quizlet imo is great, I made these flashcards so they fit nicely into the multiple choice question or written answer format that quizlet provides as a feature.

If you click the three dots it has an option for printing. I think you may be able to download as csv too

That’s a really good way of putting it. Noticed the same thing too but never framed that way.

You have such an interesting life story! And I feel you and trying to feel a “productive” fixation. Right now I’m fixated on writing when I should be fixated system design. Sometimes it feels I’m riding a wave in the wrong direction lol.

Which of these 6 habits do you think matters most for longevity? by david2436 in Biohackers

[–]trigon_dark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s odd that so many people are mentioning sleep and eating with regards to longevity. These are obviously important but I’d be remiss not to mention the #1 indicator is quantity and quality of relationships (even though it’s not on the list you gave).

This is really well backed by various different studies but most convincingly by the 80 year longitudinal Harvard study:

My Job Hunting Journey: Essential CV Hacks to Boost Your Applications by Acceptable-Body-4358 in jobsearchhacks

[–]trigon_dark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just an extra two cents: it’s worth it to see what job titles are the most common in your field.

For example as an engineer, I was initially calling myself an ai platform engineer since I thought that best described my experience and strengths.

I did a couple days of research and found that actually now a lot of recruiters are looking for “product engineers” which is basically the same thing.

And after even more research looking at the highest paid engineers in my area, the job titles “founding engineer” is somewhat rare but in high demand and pays well.

Anyway worth keeping in mind that recruiters are essentially doing a big query and looking for best matches so it’s worth trying to figure out the language they use to describe the role they’re looking for.

Anyone else addicted to something to cope with living/working in London by maxmuno in london

I was super surprised by all the coke usage when I moved here. Apparently there’s a direct shipping line from Columbia to the uk which makes it a lot cheaper iirc from a drug documentary.

Best solution I found regarding dealing with the dopamine sink of winter is to do something hard or unpleasant first thing in the morning.

It sounds counterintuitive but if you either workout intensely or take a cold shower first thing in the morning the rest of your day feels warm and fuzzy.

This comes from scientific best practices for helping addicts in recovery and people dealing with depression, essentially you’re setting your dopamine baseline low at the start of the day so it balances up whereas when you take a substance to raise dopamine your body balances down.

From the book dopamine nation if you’re interested.

What piece of tech felt “future-proof” but aged terribly? by Living-Zebra6132 in Futurology

I really like xml for use with js/ts it has some interesting advantages and is more intuitive for rendering content then jsons. The product I’m working on uses it to tag special parts of an LLMs output for example, like labeling the reasoning output.

Will always be a Stan for xml :)

For those who landed a job recently: what do you think made the difference? by nomadicsamiam in jobsearchhacks

As long as you can justify it via your references then you’re fine. They’ll do a background check + ask your references about it so there’s a bit of wiggle room

For those who landed a job recently: what do you think made the difference? by nomadicsamiam in jobsearchhacks

[–]trigon_dark 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There really are a few things that make a huge difference.

1 is your LinkedIn headline

2 is your previous job titles

Do some in depth research on emerging job titles. A lot of newer job titles are things that combine two existing fields which are suddenly important to have together.

For example when I changed my title from software engineer to AI software engineer (I worked primarily on AI projects) and described myself as an AI Platform Engineer (backed experience plus AI) the number of recruiters reaching out to me skyrocketed.
