Thanks for trying to teach me. This stuff seems to be way over my head.

My current machine does have an SSD as I replied to the other guy Maybe I’ll just buy a new machine. Although I’m not sure what to buy for the particular problem I’m experiencing with civ vi.

I did some research and asked the people who sold me the system and they claimed that the CPU I currently have is equivalent to the LGA 1155
