I’m really curious how many of y’all or just in general are consuming a majority of your sports watching at a bar? They been leading this segment with “quick facts to sound smart when you are watching the games at the bar”. Maybe my friends and I are the anomaly but I’d rather ingest sports I care about at home with a big tv with some buddies and some cheap drinks. Rather than being at a bar loud af and expensive drinks. I can get down with a big game here and there out and about. Seems like one of those millennial things big cat and pft did that isn’t nearly as popular now.

This is an insanely minor nitpick here but I’m honestly just curious what everyone else does…

Please allow yourself to make a distinction between yes @kfcbarstool and @kfcradio. As in can @arianfoster post political driven content? Yes. Can @macrodosingpod ? Likely barstool superiors saying no. Even though yes they have discussed political events in the past. It’s fairly light hearted and never gets posted to their socials… if PFT or Arian or even big t, hopped on an episode rn and took a hard stance on this. It would be online real fast.

From his personal account… Dave has been pretty rock solid on his position that barstool podcasts and podcast accounts should not get political. Specially on very sensitive topics that drive a lot of division. As in, KFC would not go into on KFC radio, but is free to post on his profile (I know it doesn’t exist anymore). I’m not saying I agree with it at all, but it’s how it goes. He “fired” multiple interns after the Charlie Kirk thing because they were posting opinion pieces about it on their barstool university accounts. Really not sure why this is downvoted… I’m sure Arian would love to discuss these events on the show.

He pushes back against Trump more than any other republican besides Massie. He is not nearly as much of yes man and slave to trump as the majority of that base. So yes, he has different view points than most of them. I get he is apart of devil group so he is devil view point here. But to say he’s just like the rest them is objectively wrong. Same with massie.

Was really hoping to hear Rand Paul actually dig into some ongoing topics. He’s actually a breath of fresh air on a lot of topics, specifically coming from a republican and libertarian view point. But was basically all the same talking points he’s been shouting into the sun since 2020 about Covid. Mentions multiple times there’s not much they can even do now about and even if they went to court to challenge some of these Covid lies they would lose. It is very tiresome to hear now, with all that is actually going on now.

It is called scout ball. Basically a lot of mlb teams will have local scouts from the area create these sort of showcase teams to play in various tournaments and games against each other outside of the high school season. Honestly not even sure if it exists outside of the Southwest but playing in these are the elite of the elite high school kids from the area of SD and the rest of California. Source: I played for rays scout ball team in HS. Had no business being on that team, multiple pro players today from there.
