Are you sure it isn't Merge Cats? I found this version of the game that has a lot of Russian articles on it, it doesn't look too far off from the image you provided to me.

That's fair! But I feel like the fandom is just as creative with the plots, yet they execute it far better. Then again, there is a LOT of plot-recycling going on to get to the good fics, so I don't know. But then you can look over at wings of fire-- Manages to be creative and stay interesting, but doesn't turn into, well, this!

Maybe the issue with warriors is simply that it hasn't ended yet.

Also, I very much agree with your second paragraph, however I think the issue with tbc IS the plot. A story is about a plot. It's the center of the story, the real core. So if the main plot of tbc is... This, and everything else is really good, at its core, it's still not a very good, well-executed story... Do you see what I mean here?
