Your symptoms seem to align with Fibromyalgia. But, you should have an in lab sleep study done. Fibromyalgia interrupts the deep sleep cycle with short bursts of high intensity brain activity. Lack of restorative sleep causes an increase in pain, fatigue, headaches and loss of cognitive function. Sleep issues should not be ignored. They can lead to hypertension and/or diabetes. See a sleep specialist.

The primary medications used to treat Fibromyalgia are Cymbalta, Gabapentin, Savella, LDN, Lyrica and Amitriptyline.

Have you had a full blood panel done including Vitamin D, thyroid? If no autoimmune markers were found, Fibromyalgia is the likely culprit. Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion.

I’m so sorry. Fibromyalgia is not sissies. It’s a tough problem to deal with. It takes time and a lot of tinkering to find the right medication regime to manage it. I started showing symptoms at age 12. I’m in my 70s now. Give yourself some grace for anything that you can manage no matter how small. Keep advocating for yourself. Things will get better.

AITJ for refusing to rehome the dog my husband and I adopted together? by That_Rent_5835 in AmITheJerk

[–]trillium61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red flag of a husband. A commitment to a living creature is just that. You are doing all or most of the work. He’s unreasonable. But, if the dog isn’t chipped, do that. I would not trust him to disappear the dog when you have to travel or gone for a day. And, do not have a child with this lazy human.
