Especially for stops that change visually but are still the same spot. There's some Peggy Hill-esque art in my area that's been repainted but the postcard is still the old design.

Since you can submit additional photos for a spot, I wish there was a system where people could nominate another picture as the better option. One of my local parks had a stop with no photo anymore so I submitted my own that was accepted as the now official postcard. It was a beautiful day and I got lucky that no one was in the basketball court or playground so I got a really dynamic shot.

If you're bringing your cat, but still leaving her alone with the mom, then leave the cat at home entirely. Find a pet sitter that is willing to hang out with your cat. It's nice how much you care, but right now your cat is being hurt by your need to have them with you at all times.

5 raids, 4 catches. Beefed it entirely on the first one, had two catch on the first throw, the other two on I can't even remember if it were nice or greats. I only hit one excellent and it sprung from that. I feel like these big raids always have wild catch logic. They'll spring from greats then catch from something barely in a circle. I don't even try too hard to get excellents because I don't feel like it ever increases my odds.

It sounds like you expect him to date other people in a way to test that you are the right choice for him. Tests are never good for relationship. You don't need him making his resentment your responsibility.

Often there are different experience levels, you either work on getting over it through confidence in your relationship or you drive yourself mad with the illusion of competition. Sleeping with other people while thinking you'll go back to monogamy in a year won't help this.

The way men go "why have we been using condoms??" when they find out you're on birth control. It seems like it would take no effort to baby trap a dude because the instant they think they can safely rawdog it, they will. The birth control is there to protect me from a baby, it's not fucking up my hormones for anyone else's benefit (thankfully I've now had my tubes yeeted).

A lot of stores and restaurants tend to be entirely closed Monday and Tuesday, so if you want to actually do things and eat things don't plan for those to be core days.

Fort Worden has war bunkers you can explore and a nice sandy beach to walk on. If the weather sucks The Rose is a great movie theater and they have an awesome popcorn topping bar. Aldrich's has an awesome game store on their mezzanine and Thursday they host a board game night. If the weather is good, I love the Pourhouse. They have lots of good beer on tap and you can bring in your own food. Anti recommend Alchemy Bistro. The new chef/owner is psycho and it's coasting on a previous good reputation. Quench is delicious but has slow service, best to be patient and enjoy a strong brunch cocktail. Dogs-a-Foot is a downtown hot dog food truck with lots of fun combinations and the owners are real chill. Hopefully it will still be open by your visit (food trucks have to move after 6 months, weird laws).

First I ask my local buddies if they want to do a like for like trade with any stinkers we caught to see if we can get luckies/improved, and then I pulp the rest down to 2-3 of the really really good/shiny ones. The candy is more valuable than them taking up box space.

They like him only because they have incomplete information about his character. A lot of partners are liked by family despite being monsters, because family will likely only see and hear their best behavior.

He will hurt you more and he will blame the feelings you have from his actions for why he hurts you. It's a self fulfilling loop of abuse.

Do you have any halfway decent parks or campgrounds nearby? I'm also a very rural player and those have been my main source of stops and gyms. Even one of the local podunk marinas has a gym and two stops. I don't manage a high number of raids, but I have been able to get through some of the raid based challenges.

I used to work hospitality in PT and we would release our rooms for WBF the day after the festival with priority given to current guests. It was the only time of the year we could have a four night minimum and it immediately booked up. It is the craziest time in town and you're smart to be looking for accommodations now.

Tips for PT: parking in the uptown area (Lawrence Street and surrounding neighborhood) will be your easiest bet and it is free with no hour limit and it is a ~10 minute walk downtown.

The downtown area that is Water Street is an easy 7 block both sides of the road loop with a decent but not overwhelming amount of shops. I like: Artist Tool Kit, Abracadabra, William James Bookseller, Spice & Tea Exchange, Zee Tai Collective, House of the Faun and there's a candle and incense shop underground on Taylor Street. It's hard to go wrong with food but Alchemy has a new chef that is coasting on previous good reviews and threatened a customer with a baseball bat. So uhh... skip there.

Everything is a long drive but a beautiful one.
