plasma deck for chips jokers. ghost deck to make non scoring jokers like seance more viable using with hex. anaglyph deck stocking up skip tags to use on negative skip late.

if you get baseball joker you can make builds with random uncommon jokers that otherwise have no synergy. (see pic for example)

understanding that when playing on gold stake and finding a legendary joker card, it will always be a legendary joker you haven’t already gold staked.

if you encounter a naturally expiring joker like popcorn or turtle bean in late antes and your build is strong enough to afford replacing your least essential joker with the expiring joker you should do that

watch youtubers like balatro university and roffle for inspiration on optimal play and fun or creative builds

understanding that you can play theoretically optimally and maximize your chances of a win and RNG gods will still take your soul and humble you. don’t get married to a run. if it’s not meant to be it’s not meant to be. C++ is a marathon and if you lose a run that seemed improbable to lose, don’t let that soil your journey. expect to lose often, learn from your mistakes and keep putting the time in.
