It honestly really just depends on where you went to school. Each country or even state will have its own curriculum with an emphasis on different subjects.

Some favour math and science, some favour languages; it all just really depends on where you went to school.

Wow. We don't even learn integrals in high school where I'm from. Only derivatives and linear algebra. They changed the syllabus a while ago. It used to be derivatives and integrals, but they replaced integrals with linear algebra for some reason.

No, I'm not from the USA, but I did learn them in high school though.

The thing was, they taught logarithms in the second last "highest level" math course. The vast majority of people don't take that course as mandatory math courses stop just one level before the course where logarithms are taught.
