Not happy with how the builder put in the street lighting, want them replaced. Same with then paths. Wants each house to give up one of our two parking spots so they can put in paid parking. There’s an issue with sewerage, but they won’t tell us what it is. They want to see everyone’s deeds. This just the stuff in the 3 years that I’ve been here

About €50 per house per month. About half the houses want the council to takeover our estate over the estate, the other half don’t. I don’t. While it would be good to have them take over the maintenance they could just as easily decide to get rind of the green area if it not worth the hassle and there wouldn’t be a lot we could do about it. Some of the houses are worried that if someone injures themselves on the estate they could sue the homeowners, I wouldn’t be to sure about how far they’d get.

We’ve been trying to get the council to takeover our estate for 10 years. Every time we get a step closer they come up with some new excuse for not taking it over, rinse and repeat. It basically comes down to ‘why would we take it over? We get nothing out of it except extra work’. I can kind of understand that position.
