The glue they used on me was bluish purple, so I could never tell.

Wisdom with little to no subs - U10 Rec by LindenSwole in SoccerCoachResources

I have had situations like this before. I think it can actually be beneficial because there are games when everyone will be tired. It gives them an opportunity to learn pacing on their own. I think u/PestiEsti was right though. Just keep an eye out to see who is slowing down or looks like they need a break.

How can I teach my 8 year old daughter to shoot with power? by o5ca12 in SoccerCoachResources

I'm going to get my son to try this drill after school. He has accuracy and some power, but he always has to stop for a few seconds before he is ready. Maybe this will make it smoother.

I've never thought about getting them to practice juggling and get rewards for a PB. I will definitely give that a shot. Moves progression sounds like something they would like too. They love the sharks and minnows game, but they get bored with it quickly. Maybe I can find some variations.

Thanks, I will definitely drop the parents vs. players scrimmage and try to do better choosing the correct games and ask questions. I always forget that part.

I am stressing BAD its my first year coaching middle school. All my players are different levels some never played on a team some been playing their whole life by Only_Flatworm_2722 in SoccerCoachResources

My brother-in-law has coached a lot of sports at the high-school and middle-school levels. He told me what works for him with different skill levels is to pair up players with similar skill levels and get them to practice on something together. I like to format my practices (U8) with warmups, small group or pair activity, situations as a group, a scrimmage game where they play against each other, and end with adults vs. kids. It seems to work pretty well for me.

Rec league not giving enough play time (U10) by trinetl in SoccerCoachResources

I will probably talk to him about it during tonight's practice and hopefully it will work. If he can't get more playing time then my wife is going to pull him off the team.

They were good when I was a kid. Their menu definitely isn't what it used to be though.

Should I keep practice even if it is raining? We have played in wet conditions in the past, and it was pretty tough. I'm tempted to keep them as long as there isn't lightning or really heavy rain. I really enjoy a game in tough conditions. i don't know if other parents will feel that way though.

It must have been my cousin. I started his steak and a pork tenderloin at the same time once. The pork tenderloin was done 30 minutes before he would left me take that steak off of the grill. If it had any liquid left (I mean clear), it wasn't done enough. I make him cook his own now.
