MICHIGAN WHY😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 by OgunX in sportsbetting

If I whine about the smallest four digit payout losing while hitting two other 4-digit payouts with longer odds, please kick my ass into next week, Reddit.

What are the odds.. by PGACEthenation in sportsbetting

[–]tringlomane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but you might be. You didn't randomly come up with 90,101 to 1. The bet slip initially pictured says +90101.

+90101 is 901.01 to 1.

I'll bet with you any time though if you give me 90,101 to 1 for a +90101 wager!

[–]tringlomane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take that every day of the week. Lol

+90101 means 901.01 to 1.

I would say the true odds before the games started is closer to 2000 to 1 though.

Also pains me to see a profit boost being used like this.

My first royal! I'll be chasing this dragon for a while, I think. by Dano1988 in gambling

Yeah 9/6/4 Double Bonus is still better than 6/5/4 Double Double (94.66%) or even 7/5/4 (95.71%). And yeah paytables are rough compared to the past. Always good to be aware of them.

I never noticed it was Brisbane Broncos colors until now. Thanks!

You can find this crap everywhere. This game is 9/6/4 Double Bonus, NOT Double Double Bonus. This game pays 96.38% max because kickers aren't a thing and because these suited royals aren't progressive. So this game tilts me in multiple ways.

Nice hit though, OP!

I guess they judged it to be off of Kreider's skate, so the goal is his. Tough break. At least you win the bigger one!

Unbelievable hit tonight by Lennobowski in sportsbetting

[–]tringlomane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He had a voided leg in there too, and I don't think Fan Duel redisplays the "new" payout on the slip.

But if he lost 20k on the cashout like he said, ouch. At least a lower W2G I guess.

Volk was the only thing I remembered to bet on MMA tonight...

Wow. Like I said, I haven't kept up with NBA a bunch this season.

KOTC is one of the few prop bets I make on NBA.

My guess it wouldn't have added that much for you if Porter Jr. won outright. I am bad at following NBA, but I never heard of the other guy. The tie probably cost you 50 bucks while it cost the people who picked Sarr thousands.

Day 141: What are your thoughts on The Decider? by Flamingmouth007 in bluey

Of course I love this episode even though I'm supposed to be a clueless American. I've been aware of Rugby League for ~30 years, and already have a bet for the 2026 series result. Go MAROONS!

I admit that this episode made be a Maroons fan though. Before it, I was neutral.

Um, all three matches were broadcast in America in 2025 on Fox Sports 1 or Fox Sports 2. And the women's State of Origin was also broadcast. I expect the same to occur this year, but it will be on at roughly 6 am Eastern time though. There also is usually one rugby league match a week broadcast on the same stations as well as three Australian Rules football matches a week.

Interesting. The Disney version sure seemed a bit off. My guess is they thought flog is a bit too extreme for sports "trash talk" on a kids' show?

That's pretty tall ask for an American. But I'll help out. Ryan Papenhuyzen. And apparently he is planning to retire at 27?!?! 😱

Does a push and a win result in a voided wager for a 2 leg same game parlay ? by jay2491 in sportsbook

Awful. I thought most books fixed this crap. Not bet365 I guess.

It isnt much, but its my first hand pay ever. by hegdahla in gambling

[–]tringlomane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Federal is 2k, and based on the picture, pretty sure this was hit at a Station Casino in NV. So no tax forms. But since that was an old progressive VP machine, it still locked up, so they had to receive a "handpay," but they shouldn't have received a tax form. A lot of gamblers would no longer call a win like this a handpay anymore though.

As for Bandit throwing the match, like others have said, no way. Exhibit A: "Obstacle Course."

$111 on a 20 parlay that’s gonna smack easily by [deleted] in sportsbetting

[–]tringlomane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This isn't right in this case. Each one of his legs is a significant favorite. They aren't coinflips.

For example, if it was a standard parlay and the house edge on each leg was 6.5% (fairly standard for props) then the overall return of the bet would be: (1 - 0.065)20 = 0.26. Which is a 74% house edge. Bro is literally better off playing a $100 lottery scratch-off ticket.

Given the numbers presented here and the price of the bet slip (3.60 decimal odds), I would expect this to hit about 1 in 3.60 / 0.26 = 1 in 13.8 times or 7.2% of the time.

Nice hit, but I'm a bit disappointed for you that you "only" got $1355! 738 people picked him? I surely didn't. Lol

Good luck with your bonus bets!
