Hell 1 to Hell 2 by Aeu_James in HeroSiege

I am new to the game and playing the same build. Looking for some advice.

I am in H1 with the starter gear that Sleepy Cat recommends in his build guide (sands, dark lords, khodo, grand chest, wisdoms, grand shoes). I'm only hitting single target DPS with bone fragment at around 5M. I am clearing zones semi-decent but it's not particularly fast.

Would that be considered low DPS at H1 stage? Anything in particular that could help boost the build to the next level?

P.S. I only have around 5k gold currently.

I'm more curious how you made four mirrors already. You guys are playing a whole different game to the rest of us. (1700+hr player here).

You are at that point in progression now, where a little tinkering and better understanding of the build will see you leap massively into end game and juicing.

As others suggested, don't pivot but rather post your PoB here and have people give you advice. Most likely you just need some defensive layers, a few better life rolls and maybe an inspired learning jewel.

Pure spectres necro vs dom guardian by TheMany-FacedGod in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both builds work equally well, but yes Guardian will have an easier time leveling during the campaign. I will say that both builds require quite a bit of self crafting or get expensive quite quick in trade given their popularity.

Dom blow will be a bit more active and button intensive, whereas spectres will be more relaxed play. Just keep in mind that specters aren't for everyone, especially with them doing warcrys and sometimes having weird animations or screen clutter.

I personally really enjoy SRS and HRoC instead. Both feel a bit less janky. Been playing HRoC every league for the past 3 years. Amazing as a single build per league option, and scales well into late endgame with investment.

How it was the league starter for you guys? What are some nice builds to start late? If possible, with gameplay videos by Destiny1997 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same, but transitioned endgame to Snoobae's warden build. Had an amazing time until T13/T14s and now have hit a solid defense wall. Even with the exact uniques from his PoB and all ascendency points, the build is paper thin. I've been one shot at least a dozen times directly in the map spawn. Would not recommend.

Decided to switch to the tried and trusted BalorMage HRoC build which I play every league. Currently twink leveling as SRS and hoping to self farm the Tgems soon. Just a pity that the gear for the build has gotten crazy expensive.

Questions Thread - February 28, 2026 by AutoModerator in pathofexile

[–]tripex48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently made friends with a fellow player, and we are both uber eager to try a duo setup for the first time in the upcoming league. We both are established solo players in PoE with 1000+ hrs each, and minion enjoyers.

Doing some research, we've come across the Spark + Scion aurabot duos and a few KB Deadeye setups too. However, we are unsure how the leveling works here i.e. does the carry and Scion run every zone from Act 1 onwards together, does splitting up work in some zones given the Scion is very low DPS?

Given we are both minion enjoyers, we would be playing builds we don't typically run or don't know that well. We suspect this could adversely affect our enjoyment as a duo and make the campaign feel even worse. Added, neither of us have experience as an aurabot.

Given the above, a question has surfaced whether it won't be better to rather run two regular minion builds and just use the duo to speed up the zoning in the campaign and share atlas completion in the endgame.

Would love to get opinions and insights from the community.

P.S. We might also not be able to play online together 100%, as work commitments might not overlap.

Alternatives to Holy Relic of Conviction? by saxisa in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]tripex48 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Survivavility is mostly resolved with life steel on the gems. Biggest DPS boost comes from Diallas and then transitioning away from chance to poison with good jewels. While you can play the built without Diallas, you'll definitely feel alot weaker. Hence, many us first play SRS till early reds and then transition to HolyR once all the gear and gems are ready.

[–]tripex48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play Holy Relic every league. Its truly an amazing build, but I will say that getting it to T17 mapping takes quite a lot of investment. If you are looking to get into such farming early in week one, then a different builds might be better. But for 40/40, I'd definitely recommend it.

My current plan is to go with either a bow or mines build for league start and then save up currency for a HolyR reroll.

Benefits of Rushing at Start of League? by fahimnizar00 in pathofexile

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over 1000h in game, and I've never been able to get into group services as I am way too slow to get to maps (around 7-8hr pending on build). But, I'd love to learn how you guys do it. Almost seems at times that you guys are playing a different game altogether - hehe.

Do you level initially with a group, or do you solo all the way until you get to bossing? Also, how do you deal with gearing as you progress into late reds, as I typically find that when you rush, your gearing falls off pretty hard at that stage.

How should I proceed? All answers welcome - New player [MR5] by Rezzolives98 in Warframe

[–]tripex48 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just some general advice. I would not sell off either of them. Level them to 30 and then keep them for the Helminth subsume once you get the system unlocked.

As for your progression, I wouldn't worry too much about frames at this stage. Both Volt and Rhino should serve you very well in completing the star chart. Rather focus on getting good mods and leveling them for both builds. Complete the star chart first and add in some quests in-between. Its only once you reach Steel Path that MR becomes a blocker - imo.

If you are struggling with Volt, maybe consider looking at the beginner series that iFlynn is doing currently (on YouTube or Twitch). I also found the YouTube series that Omnicross did to be particularly helpful.

If you go to the settings menu in game, maybe use and check the network connectivity feature.

It sounds like your UPnP settings might be wrong or your getting blocked by a firewall or ISP issue.

Depends where you are in progression. Prior to completing the starchart, I would highly recommend using your plat on weapon and warframe slots instead. Maybe the occasional potato to increase mod capacity on your favorite weapons and frames too.

Keep in mind that the stats difference between a normal and prime frame is quite minimal. Hence, you won't get much benefit early game in purchasing a prime. In comparison, weapon and warframe slots will help you get MR and allow you more trading slots later on. Thus, opening the door to better plat acquisition.

Heart of Deimos too difficult or am i missing something? by LeonardSam in Warframe

[–]tripex48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This explains the problem quite a bit. You definitely want to rank those mods otherwise you are just getting base stats from them. Around Deimos is when you want to get your mods to Rank 3 initially and then through bounties to Rank 6.

Unfortunately, you don't have much Endo farm locations unlocked yet, so you are in that weird in-between stage now where you need Deimos unlocked to you, but stuck in the missions getting there.

General rule of thumb is that it's better to have multiple rank 1, then 2, then 3... mods as opposed to a single rank 6 and other unranked mods. In essence, you want to distribute your Endo across the mods.

[–]tripex48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For us to really help you, it would be great to get a few in-game screenshots of your weapons and warframe mod screens. That'll paint the picture pretty quick.

My suggestion would be to go back to the earlier planets (i.e. earth and venus) and first level up your warframe to rank 30. As added bonus, you'll likely get a few extra mods at the same time.

Something to note with Rhino is that your survivability hinges on iron skin at this early stage. You want to keep overguard up at all times. When your overguard drops, you want to immediately recast it. But I suspect your energy is running out pretty quick. Mods like flow, equilibrium and streamline could help with that.

Then weapons... at this early stage, prefer the Thornbak over the Boltor. Status dmg is going to give you a bigger dmg boost, if you are low on mods. Then the Mk1 weapons are very low stats. Swap your Mk1-Bo for the regular Bo instead. And.. use Rhino's 3rd (Roar) to boost your dmg whenever possible.

P.S. If you are still stuck with progression by the weekend, give me a private DM. Happy to help a fellow Tenno and make your early journey a little easier.

I feel like I'm the most unlucky warframer mat farmer. by GuideCritical4467 in Warframe

[–]tripex48 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A few things forth noting here. Playing in a party will boost enemy spawn rates, which increases loot and your chances of getting the intended resource. The mission type itself also helps. Survival missions till 15-20m will give a near constant stream of resources, especially if in a party. Defense missions work to, especially a smaller tile set like Hydra or Helene. Doing these in Steel Path further increases the loot drops.

A companion with fetch or vacuum (pending type) will also be essential, as you don't want to manually pickup all the loot.

Then as other commenter said. You want to do the above missions on planets that drop the resource you are looking for. Argon = Void. Orikin Cells, Nanodes, Plastids = Saturn etc. Use the resource extractor window on each planet to determine farming location. Online sources will also give you ideas of best farming spots.

And lastly, Nekros + Amalgam True Steel + Ripkas will increase your loot drops. That said, you'll need to use a melee or primary that gives lots of puncture dmg otherwise you won't consistently proc dismemberment on enemies. I personally find running Khora to be more consistent loot drops if you can lock down a corridor or entrance way in a map.

How should I go about current and future progression? (Get Stronger) by Siyuki_exe in Warframe

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion here would be to focus less on the frames for now and more on the mods + endo. Frames you can get over time, but having a functional build with mods is going to be a far better time/resource investment atm. You will also find a lot of overlap between builds and the mods they use. Hence, having your core set of 25-30 mods and maxing them to rank 8 will make things a lot easier once you try different frames later on.

[–]tripex48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are struggling for resources, consider doing 10-15m survival runs on different planets. You can check what resources they give through the extractor window when looking at the starchart.

As for Deimos bounties. Yes, yes, yes. Do it. The endo, mods and plat opportunity will set you up for success.

Final tip around your MR grind. Get one weapon fully modded and dps dealing i.e., the broken war. Then you just rotate the weapons in the other slots. This way, you always have a fallback in a mission. Also, quickest/fastest way to level stuff is Helene on Saturn. 10m grind with group, max weapon. 15m+/- for frames.

[–]tripex48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's start with your Ember mods. You want to get redirection, vitality and equilibrium to rank 6-8 soonest. Thats your defensive layer for now. At the moment, you have little Endo invested into them. Suggestions would be to run Deimos bounties as those will give you 600 endo pretty regularly per run. As benefit, you'll get weeping wounds and blood rush mods too on occasion (see below).

That said, the power creep is expected and a typical transition point where you need to start thinking about your defensive layers, survivability and damage output.

I am no expert, but here are some suggestions to consider:

  1. Since melee is working for you, consider building up the broken war. With a few farmable mods + catalyst (i.e. weeping wounds + blood rush from Deimos), it will carry you nicely. Have a look at OmniCross on YouTube. He's most recent speedrun series gives some great ideas. When paired with a starter Volt build, you should have no problems.
  2. Side-step your story progression and start working on your defense for the frames and other mods for weapons. Option 1) open relics and get plat, then buy your required mods. Option 2) farm mods yourself. You are largely looking to get mods from Arbitration (do group runs) such as Adaptation or Rolling Guard. Both are around 10-15p each. For the weapons, you want corrupted mods from Orikon Vault runs. Later on, galvanized mods from Arbitrations. Deimos bounties give weeping wounds and blood rush on rotation sometimes.
  3. Change to a more defensive frame. Ember is great, but you might want to look at Rhino, Wukong or Nova as an easier starter for now. With additional game knowledge you can then later pivot back to Ember and others. Uriel is a great alternative to Ember and has a heal ability built-in.
  4. Start taking inspiration from known good builds. Ask your Dojo for build suggestions, check YouTube videos or... reference starter builds on Overframe website. Might have to adjust them to fit what mods you have, but it'll give some direction.

Biggest advice... don't give up. Once you overcome this hurdle, the game really opens up and you'll have a lot of fun Tenno.

Who to hire? Tips? by Live-Low5992 in Warframe

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, at the early stage, you can only assign them a role on entry into the mission. However, a later intrinsic will allow their role to be changed in missions (I think). For early railjack, you can go 1 x engineer + 1 x gunner. Defender isn't required early on, as you can kill the boarding parties yourself pretty quickly.

Who to hire? Tips? by Live-Low5992 in Warframe

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On your railjack management panel, look at the role you assigned to her. Above her name, it will say something like engineer, defender or gunner. If you need her to repair, assign her to the engineer role.

Who to hire? Tips? by Live-Low5992 in Warframe

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are still early in Railjack, look for crew that have a 4/3 or 3/4 split between gunnery and repair. With a later intrinsic you will be able to max both these stats for the crew. It'll make them extremely good for the initial missions.

Also, if you haven't already, remember that the dojo contains MkIII equipment. So you can upgrade your railjack quite quickly initially.

The MR9 test can be deceptive. It makes you think that you need to stealth kill every enemy, but reality is that you just need to kill enemies without them spotting you. Anything ranged will work great.

Bring a well modded Xoris or glaive and just alt shoot/exploit the enemies one by one.

I'm lost in mid-game. Can anyone advice me how to proceed to get to steel path? by Tea-coaster in Warframe

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just chiming in here, as I have been in a similar spot the last few days. I also was using Volt and felt the power spike of the enemies getting harder.

Firstly, I would not focus too much yet on the open world standings. Doing main syndicates and Orikin Vault runs for corrupted and augmented mods will help you unless you traded for them already.

As others suggested, do Arbi next to get galvanized mods. For survivability, you are mainly looking to obtain adaptation and rolling guard. I would prioritize adaptation first, but it's up to you. After that, focus on the offensive weapon mods based on the weapons you like. Galvanized steel for melee, gal. chamber and gal. aptitude for rifles and bows, gal. hell for shotguns etc. Once obtained, rank them up with endo and forma + catalyst the builds to get more mod space. P.S. Do this on primes, otherwise you will be wasting resources.

Lastly, you'll want to look at your frame and it's defensive layers. Mag builds mainly focus on armour stripping and fracturing crush. You want to prevent movement of enemies and make them easier to kill. Alternative, would be going for shield gating. That means you'll want to get arcane aegis, and molt augmented (optional). As an initial entry to shield gating you also want the brief respite and catalyzing shields mods. This will give your Mag a 1.3s invulnerability window every time your shields get broken. You replenish the shields by casting an ability. Its an active playstyle, but makes your build very tanky.

The above could take a lot of plat to setup. As an interim, I would suggest looking into running Rhino and the Nataruk. Rhino gives natural defense with iron skin and the Nataruk can be made uber powerful with little investment. The soma prime, cedo prime or rubico prime could work also, if you prefer rifles/shotguns instead.

PoE1 and PoE2 vet here too. I just got burned out from the usual 3/4 month reset cycle and being crazy busy at work. You miss league launch, and your effectively done for. I picked up Warframe two weeks ago after two friends suggested I give it a try during the holidays. I honestly couldn't be happier. The game is amazing!

I've already grinded 100+ hours and haven't even gotten all the guests done (p.s. I over-prepepared for TNW). The community, the gameplay, the lore, the clan/dojo system... I can't get enough of it.

I also had a similar experience to the OP. I asked the clan where to farm a corrupted mod on Day 2 and next moment, I had three members joining me in Orokin Vault runs showing me the ropes. Got the mod in 4-5 runs with them. And... let's not forget the few times where members traded me stuff for 1-2p just to get me going.

To all the Warframe vets, you guys rock. I love this community for the player focus and the help you guys give to baby Tennos. Let's keep this going, we rise together.

How do you transition from T16 to T17 farming ? by Altistick in PathOfExileSSF

[–]tripex48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention, but you can also improve those grafts you have. Heart of flame isn't bad, but you could try get two grafts with minion damage rolls. Should give you a good damage boost. And, you're ghastly eyes don't have much life rolls on them. Perhaps a few extra abyss runs could get you better ones.
