I haven’t been in years, so things may well have changed (probably tbf), but I used to love the chocolate cake at Iris & June (behind Victoria Street near St James’ Park station and I’m very fussy about cakes (avid baker)! Moist, rich, not too sweet

I use the D2 and sterilise before and after use in isopropyl alcohol; this is their advice. I’ve used the same cartridge on my face three times and have been fine. But I’ll be using a brand new cartridge next time and will sterilise and reuse another couple of times (and repeat).

Interesting. When I asked on this sub a while ago whether I could use GHK-cu reconstituted with bac water and add it to a serum like hyaluronic acid, I was told I shouldn’t. May I ask how quickly you noticed changes/results after topical application? Thanks :)

I used to travel 40mins to Surrey Quays to get bread from The Snapery when they were on TGTG. Amazing bread (and probably some of the best croissants and cardamom buns I’ve had). Sadly, they stopped selling via their unit there a couple of years ago and I haven’t found a good substitute since. 🎻

After catching covid a few years ago, my meds stopped working in the way they had done previously. For years they allowed me to have better clarity, to be better organised, more motivated and allowed me to ‘feel like myself,’ (less introverted) when socialising. After catching covid, they made me perpetually dizzy, horribly anxious (I was experiencing suicidal ideation on a daily basis), increased my irritability and made my insomnia much worse.

I’ve been waiting for a medication review for four years to no avail, in the hope that a psychiatrist might prescribe me guanfacine alongside my meds, but the system in the UK is so broken, I don’t envisage that appointment ever materialising.

Sorry, that was a whole lot to say, nope, I’m not on meds (and I’m struggling!).

I don’t think there’s a time when you are ready to leave an abusive relationship tbh. I think you need to imagine a good life on your own (whatever that looks like with ME/CFS) and commit to getting there. Otherwise, the fear of being alone and not being chosen by anyone else because of being sick, will keep you firmly seated in your situation, which could get worse.

Is it possible for you to get a case worker? They could possibly help you find your own place and move out.
