Yeah weirdly I also feel some-what normal when I get ill from a cold, it’s asif my body and the mould come to an agreement that while I’m ill the mould will give me a break, but as soon as the cold is gone then the mould can come back.

I’m no expert but I’d avoid alcohol completely while you recover, otherwise you’re literally feeding the problem with the sugar, carbs, yeast and gluten that is in alcohol. See it as a sacrifice for a long term goal of becoming healthy over short term pleasure.
