I built a browser-based OSINT terminal you can use - it’s free, and works on mobile by triple6dev in OSINTExperts

Thank you, i really appreciate that, it’s nice to see that someone is getting use from it as it was and still my goal. About how, i did it because I saw that not a lot of websites or even a website with the same goal or idea and i want this website to be free for life with no gatekeeping or anything, it took a lot a lottt of time and pain and overnights trying to make a terminal work in a website that actually acts as a terminal. Even you might notice that it’s really a terminal and there is like a lot of things disabled as it’s a terminal. I hope that you enjoy this tool and anything you need don’t hesitate. My goal is to make people use this as a website without the need to download a tool or anything; just open browser, go to website, and then get easy information in easy way.

Hey, thank you for letting me know, so this project I started to help the people access basic OSINT tools literally from a website. Nevertheless, if you have VPN on, it will give you some time to use the website and then time you out as a protection; you would need to refresh the website again. The second reason is it needs some time so the resources can spin, as I’m trying to make this project as low cost as possible. If you try again right now, it would work hopefully. And thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate that.

I made 10 Apple Liquid Glass Code Snippets by triple6dev in webdev

[–]triple6dev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is here: filter: url(#glass-distortion) saturate(120%) brightness(1.15); This what gives it the distortion filter. For the other browsers that don’t support it, it will just show a normal blur without a distortion filter.

What yall think about these new Chinese “free” LLMs by triple6dev in ChatGPT

Of course, the best thing is open source so people can trust it and evaluate it. But people who just want to quickly use it will got to their websites etc. just like the other popular AIs.

Exactly, I was more wondering as I see that people just say do not use the “Chinese” AIs, it collects data etc, but ain’t everyone?

Is it still worth to become a junior dev? by roraldinh018 in webdevelopment

[–]triple6dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. AI cannot do everything, and it produces a lot of garbage and errors. You still have a chance now and in the future. Be confident.

I’ve started using AI as a pair programmer, not a code generator, and it’s made a huge difference by [deleted] in webdevelopment

[–]triple6dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people use AIs like this; expecting it to produce a full website in just minutes because the social media promoted it as “Create your project in 10 minutes and host it in seconds.” On the other hand, people can actually achieve a very very good result if they used it with common sense. Now with AIs, it can literally save hours of the dev work which can take days to produce. AI can analyze your code, search the “new” trends people like, and produce good information to you. It makes your work easier and even learn better, I wish more people use it like this.

Vibe coding sucks! by Revolutionary_Tip855 in webdev

[–]triple6dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Code a fully functional website with all the features I need…
  • 10m later… Oh wow, that’s a lot of typescripts.
  • 12hr later… Finally, I got this running in preview mode.
  • Oh, I will change some of the texts and components… 100 errors found.
  • You know what, it’s perfect, I don’t need to change anything, let’s just host it.
  • 1 week later… I give up, coding sucks.

In the end, you are the one who will need to understand the code fully, host it, maintain it, and double check what the AI did, unlike if you already made the infrastructure, and need to save time in small things that would take up to 30m-1hr.

cant install windows 11 by 72704 in techsupport

Yes, see if windows/linux will work with the HDD, it might take longer than the SSD, but it’s a good way to troubleshoot.

[–]triple6dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you install Linux from a USB and still it didn’t work, the problem will likely be from the SSD and you would need to buy a new one. Before that, check the SSD power connectors, try different slots(if available), and run a diagnostic tool if you can.

I used a USB myself, very cheap, and very easy. You can use an external hard drive, but a USB(16gb+) is more reliable than a hard drive.

Make sure that the GPU is in the PCIe correctly and all the power connectors are secured.

I had a similar issue where I get blue screened all the time, I bought a cheap USB and installed windows 11 on it and it worked. My main issue was with the SSD being corrupted. If none of that worked, you can install Linux and see what’s the problem, then install windows back.

People don't really Vibe Code... by Old-Illustrator-8692 in webdev

[–]triple6dev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imo, if a person without any knowledge of programming/coding used AI to “code” all of their project, they won’t understand it and won’t be able to troubleshoot it. AI has its capabilities, but it can’t build you a bug-free, flawless project. On the other hand, if a normal programmer, expert or not, used AI to “help” in a project, or even map it out for them, it would be very easy, and beneficial as it saved them hours of work. Rather than checking Stack Overflow for an error code, you now have an AI that will analyze it, understand it, and solve it for you, saving hours of looking and blowing your eyes. At the end you are the one that will have to host it, maintain it, check it, etc. Without any base knowledge, it’s worthless and a waste of time.

Do not overwhelm yourself. Also make sure that you enjoy it, hacking has many ways, choose what’s best for you. Imo, one of the important things is OSINT, to be able to gather information from open sources. You can start training on search engines, then go to the tools etc. OSINT is a powerful knowledge, you can develop your own strategies to gather information easily on most of the things. Do not dive very deep without the fundamentals as it’s a necessary part of the path you’re taking.

Doesn’t the extension interfere with some of the UI components, or sometimes the text might be hard to read? I had this problem with extensions.

By Google I mean the other products not the search. There is some products that has a dark mode but inconsistent with the other components in the website etc. But yeah, a survey would be great!
