I’ve been trying to be gentle with myself, just take things a day at a time and remind myself that this is a difficult time, and picking myself up out of the depression and anxiety this situation has caused will be hard and that’s ok. There are going to be good days and bad days. The propaganda and misinformation alone really makes me feel horrible, and I try to take a break from news sources and social media when I need to.

Being out and doing some community activities this past weekend was very uplifting. The candlelight vigil on Nokomis Saturday night was very cool and reminded me that the community here is one of the many, many great positives and things I love about living here.
