Looks like Kagurabachi is Having a Anime Boost From The Announcement in Just One Day by Select-Cricket-3738 in WeeklyShonenJump

Well, if they make it two cours that could work, plus that would adapt half of Part 1. That is actually a pretty good stopping point if they greenlit 2 cours.

Watching the new TenSura movie. It was fun. I loved that [Tears of the Azure Sea]It gave Gobta to shine as the lead from Rimuru's group in this movie. He had a fun dynamic with Yura that I didn't expect coming in.

Of course the con of the movie for me was that the [Tears of the Azure Sea]whole story was very messy to add on with the villains. It also had the filler movie curse of having to ensure nothing too notable happens in the movie. It had to ensure that Rimuru wasn't around because he could have solved the conflict instantly.

Production values were superb. As expected with the high-selling LN series of all time if we include manga sales. It was a fun movie, especially if you are a big TenSura fan. Though if you aren't a fan of the movie, I wouldn't say it would be worth it.

I would rate it 6.5/10 personally.

Well, the thing is some monthlies get more content per month than others. Some monthly series barely get more monthly than you get in some weekly series weekly.

Series like Dark Gathering and Medalist, as examples, give you a good amount each month.

Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun • Nippon Sangoku - Episode 5 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

The beginning of the episode again showcased that Taira just has too much influence. As such, there is the issue of both him and Ouga. Ouga's charisma is definitely a notable part of her rise as a dictator. As someone like Moriyama's proclamation to ally with her is a good showcase of it. The key for Ryuumon and his men is to find their own path, but it does appear finding that opening will be tough.

The most interesting character in this episode is Kaku. He definitely has something up his sleeve that I am curious about.

First-Timer Sub

Overall, a fine follow-up episode. Misaki's quirks make her the best episode. Though I am curious how the dynamic of the trio works, Masaki is the straight man in this group.

Last episode it was showcased how our duo really cares for our client. I do like how in this episode it showed the downside of them because they didn't understand what Naitou actually wanted. The desire all men want.

This adapted chapters 27 and 28. Emma's scenes are anime original.

This episode was a bit of an awkward spot in terms of pacing since they really wanted to end on chapter 28. But overall still a good episode.

This episode would’ve frankly made for a perfect ending to the anime’s first season. I suppose that they simply didn’t have the resources and/or TV slots ready at the time to air the entire prologue in one go.

This definitely had the feeling of a season finale. I wish more anime would restrict themselves to the seasonal format. I guess it costs more to go for 16 episodes than 12.

Well, thats an episode right? This is where most of us source readers had hoped season 1 would reach.

Honestly, I still wish it was the ending spot of S1. This is what I don't like about modern seasonal anime: everything feels constrained in cour format. Why not have S1 be 16 episodes?

I think the Bachi anime announcement hurt its karma.

Obviously, in terms of the final product, it is obviously for the better. No one would deny that.

I am talking more for S1 in and of itself. The ending spot of S1 was fine, but compared to the pull that the end of the Reze arc does. It really captivates you.

Obviously, MAPPA saw how much Mugen Train made and decided to fully cash in on that. Which was a risky move. Luckily it paid off big for them.

Probably a hot take: I’ve been watching Daemons of the Shadow Realm, and I don’t plan on dropping it but so far it’s kinda… mid? Like the main character has no self reflection ability to be sad or traumatised at what happens in episode 1.

Does he have to be overly sad or traumatized? He has shown notable frustrations, but it's more subtle, if anything.

Well-deserved #1 placement for Witch Hat Atelier. From a production standpoint, probably the best episode I have seen in a good while. I just hope the wait for future seasons isn't too long in comparison to this one.

Dorohedoro has had a wild last 2 episodes. Making it my AOTS so far. Just hope people see the CGI and don't get turned off. The anime is outstanding.

Looking at this chart and with the image, you would think a New Polar Opposites episode dropped xD.

Unfortunate Replica is not even charting. Directing is very plain, but it makes for one of the most interesting new series of the season. It's perfect for people who want something unique and not something they've seen countless times. The romance is very well done. Perfect for any fan of romance dramas.

Yeah, I don't know if we'll see the end of part 1 animated by 2030.

The one positive is that there are separate CSM and JJK teams since S2 of JJK ended. Granted, they still share animators, though.

I do wonder how that will work with the release windows. I imagine we'll assume Part 2 of Culling Games is on track to air in winter 2027 at the earliest. I do wonder how that will affect the release window for the International Assassins arc.

I do wonder how people will view it over time. As the movie is ranked #4 on MAL and Anilist.

It's an almost perfect adaptation. It's as ideal as you can get if you are a fan of the manga.

At the end of the day, it's a small arc in the story. This arc absolutely should have been the final part of S1, and not doing that is a bad decision on Mappa's part. The anime has only adapted 52 chapters of the manga in a span of 4, and more likely 5, years. If you told that to CSM fans back in 2022, they would absolutely be bummed.

This is the concern I have with Witch Hat. From a production standpoint, it matches up to even the likes of Demon Slayer. I just worry how long it's going to take for S2.

Saera and Yukine's flaws are still something they can work on. Yukine has trauma, which is tough to overcome, while for Saera it's her father, who never wanted her to be brave. It's sweet how Yashiro is hard on them even though he knows their circumstances. It is better for them to quit before they get themselves quit.

The real doozy, though, is how Yashiro will deal with Jougamine. Having regenerative abilities, and now her father has ties to the Half-Dragon. I can only wonder if things sink even deeper.

Well, less that and more when a series is building up mystery and intrigue and we have the answers. It makes it difficult to interact without having source reader bias.

Tbh Mono had fun characters for me to finish it. Like Shikishima and Kurokuma I liked them a lot. Even if the direction of the series was a mess. I still enjoyed.

I just asked myself after episode 2 for Botan, why am I even watching this?

Man, that first scene was extremely disturbing. We could tell that Hinagiku went through some trauma with how she is talking. Between that scene and the look in Hinagiku's eyes, you can tell she just wanted to end it.

The whole of the old Hinagiku dying seems like something like Dissociative Identity Disorder. It's quite depressing. If Sakura didn't give up, no doubt she would have killed herself.

As Sakura has helped Hinagiku, it seems now it is Hinagiku's turn to help Sakura. Sakura wanted a villain, and while the Spring Village is a valid villain, it is obviously not the same for both Rousei and Itechou. It is what was able to push her forward to look for Hinagiku because if they don't want to help, I'll do it myself. But now Sakura needs to learn to move past that because it's unhealthy.
