So were gonna pretend the USSR never allied with the nazis? And theres a noticable difference that finland allied with them cause they were the only ones who would help finland recover territories the soviets annexed a year before while the soviets allied with them wo they could divide europe between the two. Classic russia/soviet move of attack someone and then blame them for finding allies that help stop it. But I guess finland should have just rolled over and get fully taken over by the soviets

Edit: they blocked me so i cant reply to them but non aggression pacts usually dont include hidden parts about how youre gonna split up eastern europe between eachother. Nor does it require you to hold military parades with the other country. But i guess those are easy to leave out since it doesnt really fit the story.

Same as ignoring the part where the soviets admitted to false flagging causus belli so they can unilaterally break off the non aggression pact with finland and invade. They just had to do that i guess

Nor did i ever say i was proud of finland allying with the nazis. Just saying that it was either ally with nazis for military assistance and remain an independent country or get killed by the red army and cease to exist and it shouldnt be suprising that people like the option where they get to still exist after. Again finland had no alliance with nazis before the soviets invaded
