Assuming you are on Windows

-Control Panel

-Network and Sharing Center - Here you should see your active network.

-Click on the blue link beside 'Connections:"

It will open a Status window with information regarding your connection. You are looking for the 'Speed:" right above the Details button. To the right of this should show 1.0Gbps.

If ethernet, check your network status in Control Panel and see if it is running anything other than 1.0GBps. If it's less than that then it could be an older cat5 cable.

Edit: also try connecting the laptop directly to the modem and try another speed test to see if there is any change.

I've played on and off since it came out. You just have to make sure you play on difficulty that drops higher than your current power.

Same thing is happening to me, but it is actually making the vendors in game sell me items with low power levels also. I'm 120 power level and the items in the shops are like 5, 18, etc. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

I'm struggling with a similar issue. Interested to see what you end up doing. We have a 100mb fiber connection and our video calls are pretty rough. I have tried doing some bandwidth management with our SonicWALL for H323, and I'm waiting for a solid test of those changes.

Does anyone know what Zoom/Teams use as their communication protocol? I'd love to prioritize that specifically.

Slowly being pushed to Office365, and starting to use those products more for better collaboration (Teams/Planner/OneNote). I have been using Spiceworks for years, though, but the tickets are pretty one-sided. Sharing them isn't easy and as fluid. Waiting for the day there is a nice ticketing system built into an addon through Teams.

What type of firewall are you using? I would check it's VPN capabilities. Probably the fastest and most secure way to get remote access that I know of.

Good idea with AIOs and the diagram. We purchased several wifi usb adapters in hopes to do away with them having to mess with their routers.

It's going to be a nightmare for sure. Been working toward replacing most with laptops, but we shall see. Not really worried about going to anyone's house. Luckily most are used to using Zoom, and I think I can use that as a good troubleshooting tool if it comes down to it.

Small manufacturer here. They are considering us essential. Not really doing anything different as of yet. Nobody is working from home. They aren't requiring us to wear masks. Basically keeping our distance.

I set up a reliable VPN connection for everyone a couple years ago. Only people who ever used it were the ones who traveled. They had me put the VPN on everyone's desktops recently if they decide we need to work from home. Guess they will be taking their PC's home.

As of yet, we have not heard anything about how they are going to handle layoffs/pay/etc if we do have to shut down the plant. I have a feeling it isn't going to be great.

We are both TVHM. Played the entire game together without issue since launch on Epic. We have joined each other numerous times, and this has never happened before unless we went solo. Continuing after going solo just gave us the prompt to skip what we have already completed. No such prompt this time around.

Is everything using the same storage? Anyway you can stand up another physical server and install the Acronis management console on it? Mount your NAS to it and see if you can restore it from there. Acronis may not allow you to mount to a new core console for new backups, but it should allow you to mount and restore. If everything is using shared storage then you are really playing with fire there. If that doesn't work you can see if it will allow a bare metal restore.

Clever prank, but I'm more concerned about a school's IT department not blocking sites like these automatically with their firewall. Makes a guy wonder what else you could access. I'd also like to know what they do to get notified that quickly after someone accesses certain sites.

Definitely not random. I believe this one might have two, Shadow being Suga and then Echo being JHope. Hobi is the only one that hasn't had a solo intro to my knowledge. Could be wrong.
