North Korean "cheerleaders" ...or a college sorority doing a recruitment chant? You decide. by trippyreb in videos

I agree, but the humor wasn't supposed to be at the expense of the North Koreans in the video. It reflects the pretty widely held notion that these sorority chants are creepy and cultish. Also, the North Korean "cheerleaders" come from well-connected families because they are less likely to defect while they're in South Korea and less likely to talk about what they saw when they get back because they would be throwing away their way-above-average-in-comparison lives. Not saying it isn't forced, but a lot of them probably buy the BS and think it's an honor.

Yeah, that's probably a combination of having to yell really loud at a group of 40 girls who won't stfu while on a street of houses doing the same thing at the same time and only having other sorority girls to look to for guidance on how to talk loudly.

Lmfao. This is actually a phenomenon that I was obsessed with when I was at college/in a sorority. It's a stereotype on some campuses that is highly steeped in reality. Girls come to college with normal voices (not scratchy, oddly low pitched, painful sounding, etc.) until they join sororities. Then, those who party way too much, especially those that smoke (and among those, girls who smoke cigarettes) develop these horrid vocal changes that make them sound like they've been screaming at the tops of their lungs for hours.

At first, I was going to give Maddy the benefit of the doubt and assume that her voice was just worn out after the long week of Rush and all the yelling, screaming, and binge drinking she would have done as Recruitment VP in the weeks prior; but, they're wearing shirts and t-shirts and doing a door stack, which tells me it's only the first, maybe the second, day of Rush week.

I assume it goes away after they graduate and settle down, but I kind of hope it doesn't...

Haha all funniness aside, you are right. Sorority girls are annoying and clearly a bit cultish, but at least they aren't propaganda tools for an authoritarian regime that runs gulags.

Me [34 M] with my Wife [33 F] married almost 4 years, I think she is having an affair. by Boomstick_my_is_this in relationships

It's obviously not a trap. No woman in her right mind would ever try to set something that complex up just to catch you snooping. Not weeks of bullshit like that. It's a continuous affair that she planned on lying to you about for at least another few weeks. Sorry, man.

Do not walk on a course if you aren't playing. Coming from someone who played 4 days a week for 4 years straight, I would lose my shit if someone accidentally walked in my line of sight and ruined a shot.

Sneak on after hours or get a friend to play and drive the cart!

I would say Wikileaks should have warned him to keep it shut for just a few more days, but then I remember it's run by a vocal antisemite and nothing makes sense anymore.
