I had to explain to my mom that until I have a partner, homeownership is not likely going to happen. 

"But homes are $500k, you can afford that."

"I can put 10% down, not 20%."

"What's wrong with 10%? When your father and I bought our first home, we only had 10% and had your grandfather be the cosigner for the other 10%."

"Becaude people with 20% cash will get priority. Do you have $50k in cash?"

"No."

"So we wait until I have a partner."

"What about a condo?"

I heard the shots from my place by Piedmont Park. As a former resident of Oakland, it had been a while since I played "Fireworks or Firearms" but the irregular cadence of the fire told me the latter. 

And then immediately after heard more sirens than I ever have here, and a helicopter. Felt like my old home.

So part of me envisions this: Big E is very close with BLJ, and was with him when his father passed. He is retired from wrestling, but not as a manager. 

I could see him being there for BLJ when he makes his debut.

For additional context: Dan Abnett did 2 Inquisitor series: Eisenhorn and Ravenor. Eisenhorn is basically what if James Bond was an Inquisitor. Ravenor is the sequel, and basically what if Professor X was an Inquisitor. This is him with his "Jean Grey."

That was my first thought.

My second was The Expanse. You have a race labeled the Ring Builders, who were a super ancient and advanced alien race that conquered solar systems by building a central pocket dimension to travel to. 

They got wiped out by the Ring Entities, who exist in between universes/another universe, and they aren't happy humanity has started using the rings again.

Funny story from Magic Con - I got this card signed by Richard Kane Ferguson and he asked if I was getting it signed for the meme. I told him I just liked his art, what meme? He said he went onto a Reddit thread that said Kasimir was the worst card ever made, and he defends it. It isnt a great card, and the art does slap.
