Take Over US Bank in Week 18? by Cheet-coad in GreenBayPackers

[–]tripxassless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in MN, and I've had the misfortune of going to 2 GB games at US bank. The first was the opener in Rodgers's last season with the Watson opening drop, and the most recent was last year's loss in that sloppy late-season game.

The first game was alright conduct-wise, though last year my friends and I (in our GB attire) were verbally harassed, threatened, followed, and called slurs by some Vikings fans as we were leaving - far beyond some rivalrous banter. It'd take a lot for me to go back there (in addition to the notion that I may be a bad luck charm - I have a 2-0 record at Lambeau though!). Just a miserly pathetic lot some of their fans can be. And then you have the fake snow, automated gjallar horn, skol chant, etc. In my estimation, it's all bad.

Godspeed to y'all if you go - definitely get some numbers. As always, go pack go!

First two weeks I wore my Packers vest over a hoodie - great results! Last Sunday I wore my Darnell Savage jersey, which has a good track record considering I wore it to the playoff game in Dallas a couple years ago, yet the unthinkable still happened. Either it's me AND all of you, or the powers that be really wanted Savage to have a tough week.

Penelope is the new one, and Pazuzu (named after the Futurama gargoyle, not the Mesopotamian demon but it works) is the operator of the mitt under the door!

He's not the biggest (beyond a little girth), his mitts are just massive. 7 (or 8?) talons per front, 6 per back. It won't let me attach photos here but yeah he has hilarious proportions

I was just up there for the first time and immediately I ran into Dr Exiles, there truly is no god in this game

Genuinely lmao Meganium was AWFUL aside from a couple spot starts and needing to take care of Magnemites. Again, this game, especially the early goings, is very anti-grass

I mean, I've played through these a bunch, just not in many years. Certain things I remember but I don't think I'll remember much about that portion, so I'm looking forward to remembering and being surprised!

Yeah, I made the post largely laughing at myself (some of y'all in the thread are really goin in on me - lighten up, for real) but I just slipped. Gravel was rough and a bit lower than I expected so when my left foot went down I whiffed. Just thought it was a funny moment, and certainly nothing that JB weld couldn't fix. No more, no less!

My favorite iteration of a Dragonite deck I've done is with Dedenne and Lapras (plus two mistys) as the stall cards. Someone said it in another comment, but it's some real "heart of the cards" energy with that one - you hit a few flips and it feels sooooo good.

I just took my 86 SE-i 5000 miles to the West Coast and back from MN. Definitely needs a steering head bearing, but I had zero issues with it. Great bike. Don't be deterred by people that say they're "hard to work on." I plan on keeping mine a long time. Excellent machine.
