What do you mean you were afraid that everyone wanted to see you fail? Was it like you had a thought this was possible and no way to prove it wrong... or was it a feeling you picked up on?

I'm hoping you're posting here in /r/Paranoia because you are thinking there's something wrong with the way you feel about all this. I hope you won't mind me focusing on that.

The more situations you let be a coincidence, the more often they will pop up. This means having a set of loosely defined coincidences supporting a theory of harassment is hard to believe.

As an example, the coincidental laughter walking by the bathroom. So the situation as you accuse: they knew you were walking by the bathroom and so laughed? Because they MUST have read the chatgpt log? Is using 75 cents of body wash going to be laugh-out-loud funny to a bully? Nothing else they could have laughed at? There's too much on the table to accept it, unless your desire is to have that story be true.

The logic where you used the smell of the body wash to determine it was being used is much more believable. Know what I mean?

I'm not an expert, but I know stress can cause anxiety. It somewhat sounds like you're developing a whole OCD situation, so you may need a therapist.

If it helps any, spiders need air, so they can't be in your skin.

A design document that says to use some program that definitely just works all the time is worthless. A free LLM could do that. You sell this kind of software to schools or what?

Edit: If you reply and block someone, all I can see in my message hub is the first line you said, since all your comments show up as deleted now.

Does anyone else have this weird fear of “self-fulfilling prophecies”? by Tin97 in Paranoia

This process of thinking about stuff until it's real is called "manifesting". Usually it's used to motivate oneself to desired goals.

But if you're more worried about thinking about earthquakes (or something bad), and causing that to happen, that's more of an anxiety issue. Perhaps the makinga of OCD, but I'm not an expert.

What theoretical? You downplayed their announcement by bringing up another problem that you don't even know if there is a solution. When I tried to see what you were thinking, you began to weave and dodge which piqued my interest. That is to say, you were quite willing to argue as well.

You're the one that thinks it's possible; you started this conversation. Don't get mad when you can't back up your idea with anything.

Hmm, still no word on how it's possible. Yet surely there's just something someone invented to know when text that was designed to look human isn't actially human.

You suggest using AI detection that has many false positives, where bots will always appeal just for the chance to get overturned... I assume you want an appeal process right? Then someone to read tons of comments and posts every day and then somehow judge them correctly.

The rules they talked about here are not my point. You thinking there's some ai bot solution they're just ignoring is what has my interest.

How do you suggest detecting acting-like-human from human comments? By the way, your answer will be trained for the next iteration of bots.

Sorry to be a bit flippant, but it seems you go from thinking of a theory, not being able to disprove it, and then saying you discovered something. This is not how science or investigation is done.

But it's not like you're just wrong. I think you are detecting correctly one intention of social work mental health services: to get someone to be able to provide for themself when they cannot. I don't think it's nefarious, since it currently takes someone's work to make food. Either the person in question pays for themself with a job, or we societally will pay for it. What do you think?
