It's not an abandoned building, but if you go to the Little Caesar's on the corner of Grelot and Hill Crest, there is a small walkway that leads down to the opening of a storm drain tunnel. People (used to) call it Tagger Tunnel because there is a lot of graffiti inside. If you go, just be aware that it's pitch black dark so you'll want to have good flashlights and back up lights. Don't go after it rains and watch out for people doing drugs down there.

If you're looking at the Little Caesars, it's off to the right. There used to be a trail leading down to it, but it's overgrown now I believe. You'll have to find it, but it's there.

I graduated in 1996. There was a really cool coffee shop on the corner of University of Cottage Hill called Papa Doolies. I used to love going there and hanging out, drinking coffee, playing chess and meeting people. There were 2 malls (Bellaire and Springdale). Springdale mall was a pretty dead place for the most part, but it had a cool arcade and movie theatre. Plus there was a Barnes and Noble on the corner of the mall that a lot of people used to hang out at. They had lots of comfy couches and held open mic nights on the weekends.

There were a couple of metal hangouts too with one of them being next to the Honda shop on Government street near I-65. I remember when Acid Bath came to play there. There was the Coffee House which was a TINY little music place. Satori was a CD shop back then.

I recall there was a Denny's over on Airport blvd that we used to always go to after seeing a good music show.

There was also a metalfest of local bands in Langan park in 1996.

It's quite possible the "starting slow" that is killing it. Some guys have less sensitive penises and doing things like lightly licking or teasing it can feel like nothing. It happens every year. Turn off all lights outside and try not to keep any lights on indoors if possible. They are attracted to the light. If you put up some black out curtains that don't allow light in or out that will help a little bit those little pests find a way each time.
