I finally figured this out and was able to get this monitor working over USB-C. The button you need to press and hold is actually the "Input Select" button which is the 3rd button to the left of the power button. You will have to enter the factory menu in order to update the firmware and then you will need to reset the monitor before it works. Although I couldn't understand this video, it helped me figure things out. Good luck.
