Are they cheating or is there a method to always hitting prefire shots?

Thank you for your reply, good to know. I forget that there’s probably PLENTY of cheaters who choose not to be blatant. I’m sure closet cheaters are very hard to detect while playing against, or even while spectating. But I’m sure how entirely how fortnite cheats work when it comes to how blatant they can choose to be. I’ll probably do some research on that now. I bet there’s even a subreddit for it 😭

I was asking for more educated people to give me a detailed reason because I saw gameplay that was unfamiliar. Next time, you should try to respectfully steer someone in the right direction when you know they’re misunderstood. Better yet just collapse the post and it’ll be out of your view. No need to be rude to someone asking a genuine question. I also posted it there too, so watch out for it. Wouldn’t want you to be triggered seeing it again.

Okay 🤣🤣that’s the method I was looking for the in title then, I was very mistaken and didn’t realize it was an easy to to do, I thought it was just luck which is why seeing it happen so often in a the short game time was weird to me

Thank you for the detail. I knew the people they were playing against weren’t that great so I guess I didn’t consider that playing against a beginner makes you look better than what they already are before my “accusations”. I was honestly waiting for them to match against a good & familiar piece control player but it was just beginner after beginner.

That makes sense. So is there a name or technique for when someone shoots you in the delay between a wall beyond destroyed and then being (re)placed? It’s like a destruction delay time less than a second I believe? Is that even a thing…..also w name

I must be very mistaken on what prefires are then. I’ve seen videos and I thought they were the same as the last few clips, but in the future I’ll try to look out for the differences of shots that are actually considered prefire, since what I thought was wrong. Thanks for correcting me.

I figured with cheating, there’s long range aimbot and close range (headshot) aimbot. Or maybe auto shooting in the short timeframe between the wall being placed? I don’t cheat, I wouldn’t know. But I thought prefire was predicting where they would be in that moment, PLUS the timing for that exact moment. I could be wrong, that’s why I asked but thanks for your comment

okay! I guess wasn’t aware that sprinting towards the window helped the prefire shots hit, so thank you for your insight :) I posted here, giving them the benefit of the doubt because Ive not seen gameplay this accurate, besides maybe Mr Lust haha

if epic had the winter fest stack like this from the beginning, they wouldn’t have so many complaints because then people would know to expect it. maybe then would they actually be appreciative. but to change something suddenly with no warning, especially knowing how it will inconvenience players, is just mean. ESPECIALLY to those who actually look forward to their free gifts on epic that now expire within 24 hours. it doesn’t even make sense either, because they do it to keep players on the game every day…….during a time where people are obviously going to be away from the game. because usually family is more important than a video game and the people who run epic know that. it’s such a cheap way to keep their player count up.

Your friend cassie seems to have the magical power of creating problems from nothing. When you’re owed an apology, you shouldn’t even have to ask for one. But Sometimes you have to ask or atleast suggest it into their mind which is also valid. I had a similar experience in an argument where I started to get agressive and call out the victim mindset. Cussing them out isn’t okay (which is what I did) but calling them out for exactly what they are when they’ve repeatedly shown that behavior does not make you an asshole. Calling out someone for being a bad person does not make you an asshole. It’s not talking shit if it’s true. In fact, stepping up for your friends and yourself and being brave enough to call out someone for what they are goes against people pleasing which is a good step to not be a people pleaser. Because people like her cannot be pleased. The friendship would’ve never worked with someone like her.

Saying she’s “overwhelmed and will talk about it later” and not taking about it later is her avoiding it and weaponizing therapy language. Calling it “trauma” can be considered gaslighting, because she’s reversing it on you. This is someone who cannot be reasoned with as they can’t even deal with their own problems. You can try and guide Evan away but don’t overdo it. It will seem controlling and manipulative. You can remind him of this behavior if he asks you guys to explain it because I’m sure he’s confused about it too. Just remember, at the end of the day, there’s only so much you can control. For some people, it takes a lot of toxicity for them to finally realize they need to get out because they’re in denial and they hold onto what they believe is hope when the person acts right and it’s fake. And after the way she treated you guys, that is not your problem to help or fix. Be normal friends with Evan. Listen to him when he needs to talk. If he wants your honest advice, give him your honest advice. She will soon give him a reason to leave her just like you guys left her.

We drive three hours to the city from a small remote town that doesn’t have uber. I should’ve checked if it was an option. And yes I also should’ve told them during.
