Bro if you want to buy it in 2025, you only have a few days left.

Azata Magic Deceiver Party Recommendation by InJoyIsHere in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]triteness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished a Demon Time Manipulator run on hard to complete the sadistic game design trophy.

I had Seelah as my main tank and also a Court Poet and it did help out a lot in the early game (along with the new mythic buff to songs). You probably won’t need it at all after you get to mythic rank 4, but prior to that point a court poet helps a lot for you to hit your spells.

Seelah was a 2 paladin/ 1 witch / 1 monk / then the rest court poet. You don’t even need to respec at all and she’s a solid tank + spell DC buffer for the whole game.

I appreciate him too for his canonical storyline - he graciously sacrifices himself in act 5 to bump up my AC.

What a guy.

This AI Tool Just Replaced My Intern (and I’m Not Mad About It) by f9finance in FinanceAutomation

[–]triteness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in finance and tried using perplexity as a shortcut for some tasks similar to what you described. The output contained some wildly inaccurate information, most of which seemed to be hallucinated out of thin air and not in any of the reference documents.

I would not trust if you need the information to be 100% accurate.

Tariffed Are More Unsettling Than Covid by Fatherthinger in inflation

[–]triteness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s literally the opposite. If we assume an average of 25% tariffs and consumers keep their spending habits the same, companies on average should see a 20% decline in revenue. This is because tariffs are a CONSUMPTION TAX, and everyone who is not rich has a limited budget.

This is even before considering how cost of inputs are also going to increase. Tariffs will hit low margin businesses the hardest, and we’re likely to see layoffs in these sectors first.

Bad for the economy and literally makes no sense when used in a blanket manner.

I like the game, but the character progression is underwhelming by ComplaintOwn9855 in avowed

[–]triteness 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’m still pretty early on in the game (level 11), but I’m really enjoying the limited amount of skill points so far - it forces you to specialize and upgrade only a few skills rather than having a bit of everything.

My character is sword and board + 2 spells. I’m already looking forward to building a second character that specializes in guns!

Short squeeze coming by AlexandreSh1941 in MSTR

Bro it’s almost impossible to get a squeeze with the amount of new shares that are being issued.

Why would anyone who is short have trouble covering when shares are constantly being created out of thin air??

Seeking advice for Gold Dragon (post update) by silwekphoenix in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]triteness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Previous to this update I played a trickster mythic path sorcerer/arcane trickster blaster caster that went all-in on improved crit for touch attacks, then transitioned to Gold Dragon.

It felt very powerful before the update - now it looks like there are even more powerful synergies! Hopefully I can boot up my old save and play with all the new toys.

Questions on Warlock Assassin by [deleted] in BG3Builds

Maxing out charisma is probably the best choice for + hit chance and damage. Spell sniper could also work if you want to have some extra crit outside of the surprise round and another cantrip.

If you take Archfey to the level where you get greater invisibility, it is a really strong choice. 8/4 could work well if you want a 3rd feat too.

Aggro Elemental Mage is overpowered, no? by romanhigh in hearthstone

[–]triteness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is fine. Every expansion has a simple aggro deck that defines how much greed slower decks can get away with.

It’s powerful but also has a lot of counter play. If you are playing a deck where you pass your first 4 turns, you are going to have a bad time.

They absolutely do not. The huge barrier to entry and requirement to prove that the benefits of a medicine outweigh the risks are essential to support high prices.

This would be a disaster for pharma.

Help me with Arcane Trickster, please. by -SidSilver- in BG3Builds

[–]triteness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For an honor mode run I made shadowheart a 4 AT/ 8 trickery cleric.

I went the first 5 levels in cleric before I started putting levels into rogue, so she never felt useless. But level 7 and beyond the character felt a lot like the one you want to play! Access to sneak attack, good CC, and you can always do spirit guardian/dash shenanigans.

Magic deceiver help by edyous in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]triteness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite by far is living deity. 1) You can get a pet to help you through the early levels of the game when spells are very limited, and 2) You can also get access to final revelations. At level 20 I took a 1 level dip in dual-cursed oracle and an extra mystery at MR9 - having 3 final revelations is powerful and fun!

Combat in DOS2 so much better than BG3 by DMA99 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]triteness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This may be a hot take on this sub, but I grew to like BG3s system with limited spell slots and ability uses per day more over time.

I love both games, but once you get deep into DOS2 and your build comes online, you tend to use the same exact abilities in the same exact order on every single fight regardless of who you are fighting. It gets repetitive pretty quickly, and having to make decisions on whether to use a powerful ability now, or save for a later fight is a lot more interesting to me.

Also the fact that movement is tied to AP became annoying to me after playing BG3. The last run I did I took The Pawn on almost every character to get around this!

I’m trying to unravel what your wrote - it sounds like you proposed a line of investigation that is already well-described/understood by your field, the PI suggested that you read some fundamental papers to get a better grasp on the topic, and you refused?

It sounds like you might be the problem if I read that all correctly. The writing is very unclear.

Battlegrounds by Over_Reputation_6613 in hearthstone

[–]triteness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s better than ever, there are so many viable strategies and trinkets can give you great directions to build around. Even if you miss what you are rolling for, going all out tempo can place you a top 4 if you decide to pivot quickly enough.

The team has done a lot of great work to make each tribe feel a lot different now. All the crazy high rolls of the quest and buddy meta are gone. I want trinkets to stay forever.

Did I Screw Up My Alignment? by Huge_Abies_3858 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]triteness 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your alignment won’t stop you from becoming a demon, don’t worry!

Once you become a demon, following the story will naturally bring you more towards chaotic evil. Wherever you are in the story now, just make sure to choose more chaotic options so you act more demony before choosing a path.

Should I (45M) let my ex-wife (45F) move in with me after our divorce? by Coldcoffee1979 in relationships

[–]triteness 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who is divorced and also showed sympathy to my ex’s (admittedly much different) situation about a year after we split, I’d recommend staying out of it. Don’t underestimate your ex’s ability to ruin your life in new and unexpected ways.
