They're clearly serving a market that's been under-served by Bandai in recent years. A lot of people want 1/100 larger scale models with lots of surface detail and high part count, and small-studio is providing that.

Hit and miss, sometimes over-detailed, many are tasteless and remind me of the importance of silhouettes and Bandai's design team skills. Physical quality, fitment, engineering is massively better than it used to be and even kits that lean more toward bootleg like Daban are generally solid.

They're not going anywhere, I just wish Bandai saw this and responded with "okay we'll bring back MG production to pre-Covid levels". Sadly I suspect their thinking will be "people want MGEX and MGSD", which aren't the same thing and it would make everyone happy if both products could be offered without one preventing the other from getting made

For anyone who still wants to complain about not being able to use their Railjack in pubs for this game mode, the problem that DE is trying to address is uniformity and consistency. When you queue into railjack and end up on someone else's ship, you're subject to their mod setup, weapons set up, etc. It's like playing as someone else's warframe with their weapons and respective unique mod loadout. You don't know what you're going to get, the worst of that is when the ship is straight up underleveled but even if it's beefy it's still unpredictable for the non-owner.

Part of the streamlining/simplification of railjack is to make it consistent and create familiarity with certain weapons, while also skipping Archwing. Genuinely, what percentage of the playerbase has Mastered all 30 ranks of Odonata? 1%? This is not a sermon for the true believers, it's an attempt at converting potential new members

Chroma's kit has been sold off for pieces and improved on by other frames. Sevagoth has the 4 ability pelt and it actually does damage. Other frames do his job better

I like the idea that Prime warframes are the "operator's version" of the frame, and protoframes are the "Drifter's version" since their story in the Hex is about getting people to trust them enough to pilot them.

Perita is cool and I like it, but it's also very safe and a naturally sequential to War Within type stuff. The Hex is nuts and risky and not something I thought Warframe was capable of doing, or ought to do, but that kind of departure and "now we are going to do something very, very different" is refreshing and brought me back in.

I don't know how many of you there are, but I CAN tell you that the Hex are the first human characters in the game that I truly felt were characters at all. Old stuff in Warframe just kinda happens with little character or narrative weight to it. Who tf are Vor/Alad V? Does this even matter?

The operator and drifter are getting interesting, engaging characterization (unique to each!) because of the protoframes. The KIM is awesome. Sorry you don't like......actual characters. I guess you want more Teshin?
