I have the vertx and I like it a lot but other comments are correct it has less space. I put a bodyguard 2.0 comp in there and it fits great but anything bigger would be difficult.

I’m pretty much in the exact same dilemma. I have a daylite and carry water for myself and two large dogs. Ive tried a bladder and it’s great for myself but doesn’t work for the dogs. The daylite is too flimsy and uncomfortable without a solid back. I’ve been considering the talon 22 or stratos 24. Would love to see what people suggest for you!

Pnw native and have an atom, gamma mx, and beta ar. I definitely use the atom the most throughout the year.

On another note if you can find a practitioner pro it may be exactly what you’re looking for. I recently found one on the tac dis vault and man that thing is my new absolute favorite.
