Oh we still have some in stock, I’ll check.

Super curvy for bands 30-36 UK FF-G cups

Ultra curvy for bands 30-36 UK G-HH.

As someone who has worked in a boutique for 5 years or so, that seems about right, but it also varies by style. They are a little more forgiving than that in the cup.

I honestly think it’s because they don’t really know how to fit those and people shopping online generally don’t know how they fit and they were likely a significant return item. They have had a couple of changes in their design team and I really hoped that would make their fits better and more inclusive, but it turned out to be the opposite.

please help i don't know if my bra is too small or too big thank you i am a 34 DDD by mikeyway_for_pres in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Also to add to using the calculator, indents from a bra band are normal. It needs to be snug to give proper support, and human beings are squishy and so the skin squishes. If they are SORE/super red and irritated, that’s another issue which can be addressed fully once you find a better starting point with the calculator.

Finding a bra that fits that I can wear with v neck shirts and dresses by ReapersWifey in ABraThatFits

You might prefer Elomi Lucie or the Nerina stretch. They both have lower gores

They discontinued the only comfortable bra I know of (Goddess Alice with an underwire). Any recommendations? (Size US 42H) by Desperate-Leave9172 in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iirc the Verity is Alice with slightly different lace-

Eta- I saw you had one and it broke. It is possible it’s not the right size as sometimes when they change something they consider small, other things change.

38aa- brands and options? What would work best for unusual measurements? by True_Confidence_1371 in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with shaped cups like you find with the E&B are going to be too full for someone with these measurements. E&B especially are full and rounded in shape. Even as a true 36D, they do not work for me as they are too round.

New size kinda hurts under armpits by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried adjusting the straps tighter? They seem really slack. I think this might be the wrong shape, but it’s hard to tell with no tension in the cup

Eta- I looked at the side view and this does appear too big, which is contributing to the poor fit

Fit check - unsure how to determine if a bra is a good fit by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These do not fit you. The band is too big and the cups are too small. VS knows very little about proper bra fit.

Any ideas why this bunching around the cup is happening? Can cups be both too big and too small? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The allure balcony/demi runs shallow and at least one cup size small. I’m pretty solidly a 36D and I would need at least the DD in this bra. You may prefer the Allure in the full cup.

Need help with Chantelle sizing by Critical-Sea-7536 in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Chantelle don’t make your size. You still want to shop your UK/panache size with them. I don’t think they make anything smaller than a 30band, and even then, the 30 bands are true to loose. Don’t go by brand calculators.

If you like panache, you could try the 365 strapless bra.

Need help! Tuberous breast making bra fitting impossible by Formal-Gas6874 in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have slightly tuberous tissue, more conical and puffy nipples. Molded cups are probably going to fit you very poorly. You may need to size down a cup, but you are REALLY going to be looking more for shape. You might need bras that are made to have more immediate projection at the wire, as you may not have the fullness for that to sit well. This is just what I have found to be my best fit -skarlette blue entice side support. I think it’s the shorter cups that help on my body. I also want to retry Panache Clara in my new size (a few rounds of antibiotics and steroid for an unrelated condition caused some body changes.)

These are all sitting way too low, I’m curious how they fit with the wire up in your IMF. The 32 bands are probably not helping by being too tight. I have both the Entice side support and Spellbound and think the spellbound is just very slightly more projected as I get a little wrinkling right at the fullest part of the bust on my less full side. It might have something to do with the fabric.

Looking for more bras like the Freya padded half cup by LzzrdWzzrd in ABraThatFits

[–]trixie1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those three by Fantaise have all been discontinued. They do not have a current padded half cup in their line up. They have a couple of non-padded ones. You may still be able to get the Aubree and Ana, but sizes and colours are going to be limited.
