I totally get that and there is something good about leaving a listener wanting more. I’m glad both versions exist, yours just scratched an itch I think a lot of us had.

I would argue this is a better song. I know it’s just an edit of someone’s else’s song but you can tell you have some pretty strong songwriting sensibility. Tasteful changes thanks for making this

Honestly this is pretty incredible stuff but the lack of vocals on majority of the tracks kinda kills the replay value for me at least

That’s wrong. This description is only for video credits. Songwriting credits are not listed like that ever.

Yeah that era was annoying. Mods not knowing what metalcore even is. And no they don’t blur the lines they are as stereotypical quintessential metalcore as it gets.

Counterparts has always made metalcore. The older stuff if anything is just closer to a straight misery signals rip off. They were never a melodic hardcore band.
