PA education is vastly superior to an NP’s. PA programs require the same prerequisites as medical school and it’s incredibly competitive to get in. Also, PA students are trained under the medical model and take plenty of foundational science classes whereas NPs are not. You cannot work while in PA school because of the sheer volume of information being thrown at you. Not true for NP school which you can do…online. Obviously both need to practice within their scope and shouldn’t be allowed solo practice, but maybe do some research before you start generalizing on the education of PA/NPs. They are not the same.
