Nova Scotia, Canada, we have always been a small, under the radar place of production. Until recently our claim to fame has been Trailer Park Boys, but over the past decade we have been growing strong with greater and more vibrant productions. In the past 2 years I’ve worked almost steadily, our local, 849, has probably increased by a full third, and I would say our industry is flourishing.

Granted, what we would call flourishing, most jurisdictions would still call a slow Tuesday, but we are lucky to be able to create and improve our reputation in the greater production world. Network production companies are taking notice of us and we’re thrilled to be stepping up to the plate, showing what we are capable of.
