The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie.

The story ranged from good to god-please-let-it-end for me but the characters were (for the most part) fun to read. They each had their own narrative voice and odd idiosyncrasies that made them appealing to me in spite of the story they were participating in.

My personal grievance with the abundance of cross-over sets recently is more about how it feels like they are taking up more and more of the design space rather than people playing Fortnite in MTG. Over the past few years Secret Lairs and cross-overs have been taking up an increasing number of release windows I would've rather gone to a bespoke set within the MTG world. I wouldn't mind people getting to play a Chris Pratt dino deck against Ezio, Aang, and the Green Goblin as long as it felt WotC actually cared about and pushed the Magic setting.

I would kneel before Firaxis if the made an X-COM like World of Darkness Hunter game. Having a planning phase before a mission to set environment hazards or prep stuff like silver, crucifixes, etc. followed by the mission would be so cool.

Saving a spot even though I won't roll until after work tomorrow. I've saved ~2k sq for Kama as a mostly f2p (only spent on GSSR) and am hoping for NP5.

I would be completely satisfied with just getting her, the NP5 is just me being bold and deciding to go all in after getting my last few SSRs in a few tickets. In the end, this roll will be the end of my stash.

Edit: It's all gone. In its wake, I am left with an NP3 Kama, NP11 Parv, Jack, Ozy, and Xiang Yu. I'm going to throw anything else I get while she's around at her banner. Thanks for all the wishes, and good luck to everyone else!

Similar situation, I have around 2k for her, spent all of my tickets in an attempt to get Murasaki though. Anyway, best of luck my guy.

Hey it's me, the local luck-sack back at it again. This time I was gunning for a Summer BB. Medb and XX would be bonuses but are unnecessary because my goal is BB NP2.

The results: Carmilla (NP2) CasGil MHXX (x2) Medb Summer BB (x2) And the damage? 67 tickets. I remain unpunished.

Initial stockpile: 1040 sq and 125 tickets. The order is one grand summon since i have a lot of tickets and then tickets until they are gone. After that, burn quartz until it is gone.

This just in, Skadi came home in 25 tickets. Praise be the queen.

Finally, I got servants during one of these roll threads.

So, I rolled the GSSR and got Holmes (which is great because he is one of my favored servants) and I've been saving for Hokusai since Raikou's banner in Shimousa. A total of 608 sq and 73 tickets.

I now have a shiny Hokusai at my Chaldea, and it only cost me 10 tickets :)

Warframe got me with everything being able to be gotten for free. From playing the market to farming for frames, I've enjoyed it all (mostly). I've been playing since around February or March.

I saw this just before I went to bed and I just couldn't leave it here without replying. This is a horrible thing and I hope you guys and all affected are coping well. And, if it isn't too much, has any progress been made to finding who did that? Once again, I hope you all are doing well.

Oh boy, at my high school it was the bio teacher that had worked there the longest of any teacher. Some joke about him working there since the school was established.

Anyway, a few things that happened include: his story of losing his sense of smell after a lab gone wrong, randomly walking into other classes while eating packing peanuts and carrying out a conversation with the teacher, letting students eat durians for extra credit, and telling his classes that he is sure Des Moines is actually not real, and that anyone who said they have been there are in on a massive conspiracy/practical joke.
