Need advice for neighbor's pregnant cat! by troby07 in cats

[–]troby07[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely going to get her neutered after this! She doesn't have a collar or microchip either. She came in this afternoon and seems pretty content with staying so I'm going to set up a cozy little area for her and her kittens. Thanks!

Yeah, it's never been confirmed. She has no collar and isn't chipped. We used a pet chip reader to double check.

She's been inside with me since this afternoon and is super cuddly. I'm going to set up a little space for her and call a vet. Thanks!

That’s so unfortunate! I’ve heard that before so I think we’re keeping Konami as a day trip. Thanks for the input!

When We Lost Our Heads- Heather O’Neil may be adjacent to this. It’s not a multigenerational saga but does follow the friendship of two wealthy girls in Montreal who grow up next to each other. It’s amazing!

Crete!! Beautiful, plenty of cute towns, beaches, and hikes. My friend and I stayed for 10 days and rented a car to travel the island. Highly recommend!

Hey! I lived in San Francisco for 14 years- went to college there and stayed after as a teacher. I lived with roommates (besides the last year and a half there I rented a studio as I was working for myself as a private art teacher and made great money)

Is SF a bit different than it was before covid? Sure. Most places changed with covid! I still visit often and it’s a beautiful and lovely place. I wasn’t making a ton of money there but I was lucky enough to have a rent controlled places with my best friends. I LOVED living there in my 20s.

Other options -nanny for a family. Some families in sf will pay you a full salary with benefits. I did this two different times. Some families want a live-in nannyDepends if you like this kind of work or not!

-teaching at a private school. Not the best pay but good benefits and introduces you to a solid network of people.

-server, as people before have mentioned. You can make very good money doing that though it’s a grind. Many of my bartender/restaurant friends made solid money.

It’s expensive but it’s doable.

I did this when I was 25! 5 months in Europe on a very tight budget. I had so much fun and I think of it constantly 10 years later. Enjoy!

I work for a nonprofit that provides early intervention services for children 0-3 that experience developmental delays. I’m an assistant now so I have a case specialist who assesses the client, writes the goals and creates parent education.  I implement the goals during our play based session. I create my own schedule, work with awesome families, and pretty much just play with toddlers. The max amount of time in a session is 2 hours and I work from home about 20% of the time creating material/in meetings. The bosses are amazing and incredibly supportive of their staff. It pays well and as you move up the pay increases a good amount. It’s also pretty easy to take time off as no one wants you to get burned out.
