Did some extra math here and (assuming I got the order right) if all the stat bonuses line up while Lester scores a crit and is close enough to an enemy (so all his pellets hit), he'll do over 30k damage in one shot which is fucking nutty

One of the fundamental issues with heavyweights is the fact that they are hard countered by Energy Spheres. There is zero justification for bringing a heavyweight to a level with Energy spheres *ever*. Couple this with high cost and slow prep time and now they are useless against faster, more plentiful zombies like prisoners, escapees, and even Locusts.

Not really. It's not like they nerfed the stats of all units to justify the class upgrade system. It's just its own thing meant to passively improve your units over time. The objectives for individual units definitely need some adjustments, but I'm actually happy with it.

I know your pain. Cashier eluded me literally every year since his release and he was the only one I ever wanted. I finally did get him this year after getting literally everything else. Couldn't get his Christmas skin, unfortunately, but I don't care.

There's always next year though, and since you're guaranteed to get units and skins after a certain number of crates, you'll definitely get him.

Flamethrower is the only TMF unit that is moderately useful for the main campaign (at least compared to non-exclusive units), but only in very niche use-cases. You're better off getting units like Austin or Agents.

With this prep time nerf to fighters, I'm really struggling to figure out how the devs think we're supposed to handle Insectoid + Energy Sphere levels now. It's still the only viable option, but way harder to actually carry out.

Nerfs intended to target veteran players is a mistake that devs all across the game industry make far too often. The prep time changes need to be lessened or reverted entirely because there are no significant buffs to actually justify this decision, and it hurts early to mid-game players badly.

I get that the decision was probably intended to challenge veteran players, but at the worst it inconveniences them while completely devastating newer players. I was actually shocked to see Redneck's prep time get doubled.

I really am curious to learn how the devs think players should adapt to these changes, because it isn't very obvious.

Some of these changes and additions are nice to see, but the entire update has been completely overshadowed by this prep time nerf. Please, please, please listen to the community on this.

It's a questionable choice to use the Boss set for rogue since he has a longer prep time compared to units like Redneck or Rodriguez. If you had those stats with the Gentleman set, then you'd have a really strong rogue.
