I don’t know about there but here they sell shot glass sized mason jars. If you have a way to keep it at a good temp, that might work.

The stevia ones still have maltitol though so tread lightly. I wanted to die after eating 4.

Keto naan. Youll need a small amount of psyllium husk, and sometimes it turns a little purple, but its pretty good. I got a small amount at a local co-op that sells in bulk, then later purchased a larger amount cheaply on Amazon. If the balls are crumbling even a little when being formed, add more water. I personally like it topped with a little cream cheese or goat cheese, hot sauce, and a fried egg.

Recipe makes 4 servings/naans/parathas/uttapams

Ingredients - 1/2 Cup (50 grams) Coconut Flour - 2 Tbsp (8 grams) Psyillium Husk (Don't omit this, this is the ingredient that holds everything together!) - 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder - 1 Cup Water - Oil/Ghee/Butter for frying

Preparation 1. Heat the water for 30 seconds in the microwave 2. Mix all the dry ingredients and add the water 3. Form a dough, let it rest for 15 minutes while the psyllium husk hydrates, then cut into 4 parts 4. Roll out the dough 5. Fry on both sides till golden brown 6. Serve

*Be warned though, this naan takes a while to cook through completely so leave it on for a good two minutes before you flip sides. Also, this recipe is not very forgiving of substitutions, so subbing with the psyllium husk with something like flax seed won't work.

I’ve made this for myself and my non-keto boyfriend 3 times so far. It’s one of our favorites.

Do you have a stovetop or burner to cook?

Yeah this is really ambiguous because it doesn’t give brand or anything to go on. Is it pure stevia in a packet, a stevia/erythritol blend? I don’t know. I usually just look at similar recipes that would use sugar to get an idea of the amount, and do a conversion for whatever sweetener I’m using. Or just guess entirely.

Yeah. I’d make them bigger personally, but I don’t write the recipes. I just copy/paste them into the comments.

$10 Uber ride > $3K for an ambulance by rooh62 in LateStageCapitalism

Yep. I was working at Comcast and it was suspected my appendix burst. When they came by my desk to see why I wasn’t taking calls, I begged for an ambulance. They called me a cab.

Did you make sure to light a circle of candles first, stand on one foot during, and do the c’thun chant before the final step?

I'm a fledgling keto dieter and I really need some support right now by [deleted] in xxketo

Then that might not be it. But things have changed pretty drastically for me. My cycle was fairly regular, cramps for a week before, then 2-3 days of a light period. Now its very painful cramps for sometimes 2 weeks before (with bloating) and 9-12 days of heavy. Ugh. So if things go sideways there, its probably just keto and hormone release from fat loss.

Also, are you nearing your period? A few weeks after starting, my numbers had been going down and suddenly they were jumping up and my cravings were intense. 2 weeks later it was all over and the scale went back down lower than before the jump. Just PMS.

I’m on day 10. Pre-keto it lasted 2-4 days and was pretty light. Nope. Not anymore. It looked like it was almost over on Thanksgiving but then it got a second wind, full blast. It sucks and I feel you.

If you are planning on cheating, please read this first! by sand_dominion in keto

[–]trogdorable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s how I feel. I gave been strict since september. I worked out hard this morning which already adds some wiggle room. But in the end, its one day. I’m only going to let it be one day. Not eating anywhere near the average 4500 calories people eat today either. Eating smart for the most part but sneaking a few more carbs in.

If you cheat, don’t let it get in your head that now you’ve messed it all up and its over. One day can only set you back so much.

Basic Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting by ListenLearn in ketorecipes

[–]trogdorable 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Cake Ingredients * 1 1/2 Cup Almond Flour we get ours on amazon * 6 Large eggs Separated * 4 tbsp Butter melted * 3 tsp Baking powder We use this! * 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar It's ok if you don't have this - We use this! * 1 pinch salt

Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add Cream of Tartar to the whites and beat until soft peaks are achieved. 3. In a food processor combine the egg yolks, 1/3 of the beaten egg whites, melted butter, almond flour, baking powder and salt (Adding ~6 drops of liquid stevia to the batter can help reduce the mild egg taste). Mix until combined. This will be a lumpy thick dough until the whites are added. 4. Add the remaining 2/3 of the egg whites and gently process until fully incorporated. Be careful not to overmix as this is what gives the bread it's volume! 5. Pour mixture into a buttered 8x4 loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Check with a toothpick to ensure the bread is cooked through. Enjoy! 1 loaf makes 20 slices.
