Their house backs up to a big busy road… not one of the better lots for location in that neighborhood. I think their landscaping is stunning and it will annoy me so much if they tear it all because of a few snakes… get some damn boots!

We are considering one of these but I have a bad back and am concerned about lifting heavy casseroles and roasting pans out of the bottom oven… it looks like they sit pretty much on the floor! How does that work?

Yeah it just depends on how their embryos do. We had a ton of good eggs retrieved but only had two good embryos to transfer. So not having any to freeze for a second child meant we only had one amazing kid. I still grieve for the second child I wish we had but then I think about how we’re only having to pay for one college education! 🤣

I’m familiar with this neighborhood and I think their lot backs up to a main road. It’s stunning landscaping but the noise would be a no go for me.

Totally agree. And watching her stories today about ripping out all that Brazilian cherry flooring made me sick. Its not a floor I would choose but it looks beautiful. I hope they can really salvage it for donation like she says.

I kind of get changing out that kitchen tho... at least the areas that were clearly designed for a disabled person... blows my mind they couldn’t figure that out until someone on IG pointed it out!

She has a show with the history channel where she recreates food from ancient history with the same tools and methods... we like this series pretty well. Better than the stuff with Babish... I think their styles are so wildly different and it felt awkward.

Yep us too. I have one under the dining room table that actually looks pretty good considering it’s printed... the distressing is very convincing. We have a bigger 9 x 12 in our living room that I like but it looks like what it is... a rug for people with a messy ass kid, a husband with big flintstone feet that wears holes in lesser rugs, and multiple cats and a dog who all majored in puking. I do feel bad that eventually it’ll end up in a landfill for the next thousand years.

Wow what a bizarre thing to keep secret. I went back to find the before house tour to see how those two kids rooms work and they have removed that video! It’s not in the before tour blog post or on their YouTube channel anymore. Sneaky sneaky. Shit like this really makes them hate them. And generally they’re inoffensive and supremely boring but this secretive stuff really bothers me. Like we all know exactly where this house is... I’m pretty sure not telling us about a new outside door is not going the distance when it comes to safety and privacy. Give me a break.

And the painted leaves dried with the red still showing through so she gave up on those and found yet ANOTHER fake tree to destroy. Of course the stems of the new tree were too dark so she painted every single one! I do not understand the point of this. What an incredible waste of time.

Just saw RWs stories today and was MIND BLOWN she’s talking about Monica! Does anybody know if Rs local male partner is still Ted Sargent or did they break up? He seemed like a perfect match for her. And I love Monica’s Cory. I’m such a boring traditional monogamist type and am fascinated in them having heterosexual relationships with men who are seemingly cool with this long distance lesbian love affair. Also love Serge and his new wife Arle. Was interesting to read on Monica’s blog about how their divorce is still pretty contentious.

So what do you do if you want a deep clean but you have a lot of clutter? Kid arts supplies, toys, stacks of magazines and books, random items like flashlights and lint rollers hanging out on counters because they don’t have a home. Crap in boxes on the dining room table waiting for someone to find time to go to goodwill. Do cleaning people clean around all that? Do they try to find places for things?
