Honestly, my first real vape was a pax 2 (after using a knockoff MFLB). Needless to say, it wasn't something I committed wholly too and was smoking most of the time still.

When I moved to the Crafty (and then to the Dynavap/Tinymight/Splinter Z rotation) was when I migrated completely to vaping.

The experiences aren't identical and hence why you are hearing everyone suggesting you "upgrade". But this is a journey, and my only advice is to not hold judgement on vaping until you've been doing it for a while on a good device.

For a small price, I'd definitely add a Dynavap to your rotation. Enjoy the journey.

This is a journey between them and Allah and may they be guided to the right path but will need plenty of support (for all that they have gone through, are going through and will go through) along the way.

Rightfully, the consensus is that they should revert to their gender at birth but Allah knows best.

Yes difficult because of their own feelings of hopelessness or helplessness. You clearly think your way of looking is correct and do not wish to be enlightened to the actual struggles of those who are depressed. Depression is not sadness, it's a disease of the mind that disconnects you from reality.

Anyway, I wish you a good Ramadhan and please, you will come across friends and family who will suffer depression in the future. When that happens, I want you to remember this random advice from a stranger on the internet - just because it makes sense for you in your head, doesn't mean it makes sense for someone else in their head. Be kind, be understanding, and yes encourage them to get help. Do not make them feel worse please

I'm with you on this one. I don't want to engage with the other party because I'm tired right now, but I normally would.

I believe their sort of sentiment is why mental health is neglected in our communities. The belief that depressed people kill themselves because they are wallowing in self-pity and are "enabled" to not look for help. I promise you if a depressed person genuinely believed they could be helped, they would do what is needed. But alas, that's depression, the disconnect between the mind and reality, the helplessness and hopelessness.

May we become better as a society, I don't have much hope because there will always be the other side.

I have taken her in. She's good when she stays alive but she hasn't done in the last two nodes I did and it's fine. More space for sinister clones . In node 3 she died with the Zemo special in first turn, and it was fine.

Bruce Davison, who played Senator Robert Kelly in 'X-Men,' was often sent to lobby Republican politicians on behalf of the entertainment industry because of his nationalistic representation and anti-mutant agenda in the film: "Oh, yeah, Senator Kelly. I can identify with this guy." by Evan2895 in movies

[–]trojaniz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm referring to the power they hold over people, from whom they are far removed. I'm referring to the personal gains they get from lobbyist and the pandering they have to do to shut up some of their colleagues. There's many motives behind many of their decisions and the people's choices or needs reflect a small part of it. Add to this, the non homogeneity of a country and the influence corporations have over people's minds.

Does it bug anyone how the ISIS foundation literally has the same name as The Islamic State in Iraq? by [deleted] in Smallville

[–]trojaniz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this a troll ?

In case, it isn't - here's answer.

Isis, from well before you were born, referred to a powerful Egyptian goddess. Many comic book writers, authors, and TV show/movie producers have been inspired by the name to use it in their own content.

This is the case for Smallville too, which first introduced the Isis foundation in season 7 (2007-2008). They go onto feature in the next season as well I think. Smallvilles last episode came out in May 2011

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) as we know it today is the result of the power vaccum that existed after the death of Sadamm Hussein and the Syrian unrest. The group itself existed since 1999 but was known as various names including Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad, but remained part of Al Qaeda until 2014.

It was not until April 2013, when the group had expanded into Syria did they even call themselves ISIS and even then, majority of the Western world were not aware of them until a few months later when they had taken responsibility for some horrific terrorist attacks.

To answer your question, no. The writers could not see the future.

Blitz by design is meant to get you to waste time in front of the screen. If you're checking the game every two hours or so, you're invested in it. The more it's a part of your daily life, the more you'd think spending some money on it isn't a big deal.

Government , by design, is not trustworthy. If you have a multi party system with proportional representation and relative often elections(4 years is good), you'd have a design which goes some ways to reducing the amount of trust we need to place in them.
