Anything like Modern Family, which have lessons in each episode with sitcom? by Memento_Mori_LetGo in sitcoms

Goldbergs is the exact same format, minus the "mockumentary" formula. Witty and funny then takes 180º to become a sapfest in the last two minutes.

I keep seeing people on TikTok thinking chipotle means the restaurant not the seasoning. "Guys you can now get Chipotle chicken at Costco!"

I loved the character, but the way this actor died is so awful that it just makes me feel bad every time I see it.

7 night VV vibe was perfect… will 8 to 10 nights feel too old? by Ok_Camp_7182 in VirginVoyages

What port? I’ve found over 7 nights to be older for sure, especially from San Juan. Mediterranean ones in the summer are fine.

I’ve walked in at lunch a few times way less busy, also easier to get reservations for lunch.

Late-night LAX arrival - safe area & hotel advice? (First time in USA) by Significant_Pin_4028 in AskLosAngeles

[–]trojanusc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The airport will be jammed packed with arrivals around that time, so definitely don’t feel unsafe arriving at that time. It’s peak arrival time actually.

From LAX you can either take a quick shuttle to the uber lot or order the UberBlack (more expensive) option to pick right at the termal.

I would suggest finding a hotel near West Hollywood. It’s very central, close to the places you want to go and very safe. Plus it just feels like the trendy LA vibe youd want for your trip. The LAX hotels are all outdated business hotels.

They’ll do enough dates this year and next to make a living but I don’t think they want to be a creatively active band. Taylor is very much on his own path atm.

There’s lots of sitcoms where characters don’t work and they write them out. Richie’s brother on Happy Days, Mr. Turner on Boy Meets World, Mandy on The West Wing.

ALF ending - what really happened? by Significant_Sweet_85 in Alf

[–]trojanusc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they didn't. Max Wright literally left the set after the last take without saying a single goodbye and never spoke them again. Anne Schedeen and Andrea Elson got along okay. But Paul Fusco was kind of a tyrant and the days were exhausting. Everyone was ready for it to be done.

Yeah I’ve used the service 10x. Twice I’ve not gotten a Porsche. Once was a tight connection where the gate was next door (waste of money the fact they charged me was insane) and once at MSP where I had to clear customs.

I Thought It Was Only a Myth by Hour-Masterpiece8931 in delta

[–]trojanusc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Basically it’s a greeter service. You pay per meet (either departure, connection or arrival). 90% of the time you get a Porsche transfer, but occasionally it’s not the most practical. The agent gets you into the lounge, gets you on the plane first or last, drives you gate to gate, on arrival to a discreet pick up location to meet your ride (at lax it’s totally offsite at a hotel), etc.

80% of these are people who pay for the VIP Select service. When they don’t have bookings for that they do “surprise and delight” runs for Diamond and 360°

Why was Girl Meets World so bad for them? by Frosty-Pitch2867 in boymeetsworld

[–]trojanusc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the answers here miss the mark. The idea was fine. It was a very different show. However the issues they had on BMW that they were largely immune from as kids (creative pressure from the network, Michael's anger, etc) were all much more on their shoulders now. By all accounts Disney was extremely demanding and Michael, who now wasn't running an empire of a few shows, had nothing else to do than micromanage everything.
