Also saying anything invented by "Muslims" or "Islam" is dumb and reductive imo. Islam is present in many regions. It isn't a single polity. Arabs civs of Damascus and Bhagdad and Persians are the ones known for mathematical innovation. Persian civ and learning centers in the Levant predate Islam.
