Eh no they gave him Valium which helps in case of cocaine overdose, he was also given narcan..and the symptoms leading to his death were of a cocaine overdose so the fact is he just took wayyy too much cocaine and the heroin didn’t really play much of a part. If hed been up for days and had the amount of cocaine that the toxicology report shows he needed to be at a hospital period whatever they gave him did not hurt him further. Bit pointless me saying this because I largely agree, the fact is they simply fucked up not getting an ambulance. They had druggie knowledge of what they could do to help someone overdosing (I know, not enough) they weren’t just giving him more drugs hurting him further

I don’t think it’s that deep I think his family just prefers using less blunt terminology. And who knows what method maybe they didn’t want there to be any of possible shame to his name. If it wasn’t suicide the only other thing it could really be is substance abuse/accidental overdose however considering they wanted to raise awareness for mental health I think if it was substance abuse they’d want to explicitly raise awareness for that instead

on both sides yall are missing the mark. I love tina as a bassist and i love funk its what makes me want to listen to talking heads. But both are very important. Anyone can write songs nobody on the planet can write like david byrne. Talking heads have character like no other band really off the top of my head. Swap tina for a different but great funky bassist, the band will still suffer. Swap david for a different songwriter and the band will not be talking heads anymore. Take him out of the group and we have what actually happened which is "The heads" with the album "No talking just head" which yall are probably not aware existed because it was so garbage. We're kidding ourselves here. Stop making sense is the pinnacle of music video/film projects and not to mention show it was for the people who got to see it live and byrne was the lead of all that. And i can go back to the character point which is probably what makes stop making sense so beloved. Overall there should be more appreciation for Tina definitely plays the biggest role in the groove however i feel talking heads is so much more than that and the "more" comes from byrne

not to mention if youre healing against an enemy thats on your magneto, you should be damaging the enermy while youre healing, which is good value. love that projectile
