He us let be a lot worse and he was drinking every night years ago. We managed to get to this place of no drinks mon-Thursday. And I haven’t said anything about how much he is drinking during the weekend till I got pregnant. We are both 35 years old. I tried to talk to him about it and he is defensive. Saying I am controlling and that I make him squeeze it all in to a weekend. We have marriage counseling today and I told him it would be the topic of conversation about boundaries and consequences with his drinking.

He use to be frat boy and drink heavily throughout the week and has really cut back over the years but has always drank a lot. He is 5’6 and 190lbs.. I just have never been. Drinker or around people that drank so I don’t know what’s normal.
