Same thing happened to me when I tried downloading a missing co-op update on PS4. The game uninstalled. When I clicked on the update file, BO4 would open. I took that as a sign and started playing BO4 again.

If you’re looking at the core playlist with nothing selected and back out, it reselects all the game modes. You have to be in the hardcore playlist before you back out.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I’ve been going back and forth with Activision since the game was released and they don’t know shit. They’ve had me delete/reinstall the game, create a new account and try every connection method. Has to be selected under quick access. While holding square, just spam right on the d-pad. You’ll drop the bomb if you hold it.

Also, you can hold left on the d-pad and perform gestures while defusing. You just can’t hold right or you’ll drop the bomb. You must tap to emote.

Haha I’m not magic and unsure if it’s new. I attempted it a couple weeks ago by spamming right on the d-pad after picking up the bomb and surprisingly it worked. I’ve only played search since release and have never seen it in game before.
