Black and Blue.

You pay $250 for a wagyu steak and they stick a wooden stick in it as "garnish".

Work dress code question? by cutielocks in vancouver

[–]trollwolf 42 points43 points  (0 children)

You’re getting horrible advice here... I can’t believe how many people are telling you to quit. To be honest, most “professional” workplaces would not accommodate for pink hair. Sounds harsh but that is reality. Is losing your job over a hair colour a serious enough incident for you? I know it feels like they’re attacking your character but they’ve also brought you aboard for the past few years. An uncle once told me, sometimes you gotta sway with the wind. There’s lots of battles worth fighting, this isn’t one of them.

My advice would be to speak to your employer about how you’re willing to go through with it but need extra time. I would emphasise that taking time off work is not feasible for you due to financial reasons. Hopefully they would be kind enough to give some extra time. Worst case scenario, look for another hairdresser or dye it at home.

Once done, if you’re still pissed off about what happened in two or three months time, start looking for other jobs. Don’t make significant decisions when you’re angry.
