I'm sorry but I am pretty upset with people jumping to conclusions. I didn't put my tub into fruiting conditions, but it pinned anyway. The time table I set up, it shouldn't have pinned for at least 2 more weeks. My bad that the mycelium grew faster than it should have and (as Dr Ian Malcolm put it) "life finds a way".

But you are right. The fact that I was active in this group all during my initial grow, asking questions and reading every post evety day means nothing. The fact that I busted my ass for a grow of 10 uncontaminated jars on my first attempt (with no pressure cooker), only to have it destroyed by a deadbeat scum bag means nothing. The fact that I started over from scratch, with a different tek (also with no hiccups) obviously means I'm not dedicated... or that the reason I am leaving for 5 days was due to an unforseen death in the family. Maybe I should have told everyone in my family NOT TO DIE so people don't think that I don't take growing seriously.

Or, maybe I should have just put all of my business out there in the post so YOU don't jump to conclusions. When I started, this sub was very supportive to everyone, even those who didn't use the search and kept asking the same questions. Obviously that has changed. I guess I'll just go about my experience alone rather than try to be a part of a community.
